Interesting question… I do still like the idea of patiently waiting on an edge next year. We’ll have a lot of ammo to move up in a deeper edge class. That said, he keeps falling and my intrigue increases.

My opinion is that they need to get a top DE in the 2025 draft. It is time to have the 5 years of cheaper control. There are lots of players who either get paid soon or are lost.

Lets see what happens at #75 but they could dive into free ageny and bring back Yannick or sign E.Ogbah or Carl Lawson.

Note I saw very limited college footage of Williams and Penix. I have to say I have never seen a college QB throw more accurate balls than Penix did vs Texas in the CFP. He just surgically threw perfect pass after perfect pass.

Ironically the most I saw Williams was when he was beating Texas his freshman year.

Regardless I am content with the pick. Let the cards fall where they may.

I personally believe Caleb is the best talent...but the best "college" QB was Pennix and his accuracy was crazy..first highlight they showed...ball was out b4 break.
