What's next? Watchin the roms or Rome odunze? Or watching the discs? Or watching Gayleb suck discs? We can't stream and cream just yet, too soon.

I feel like Caleb should start with Spartan on betamax.

Poles is going to trade the 4th for a 5th round C and a 6th round G and I’m fucking here for it.

I hope the kid becomes great but it sounds like he's much further away than many other players that were drafted behind him.

I'd take any of these players that were drafted after him.
Jonah Ellis
Jalyx Hunt
Adisa Isaac
DeWayne Carter
Calen Bullock
Kamren Kitchens
Matt Goncalves
Zak Zinter
Dominick Puni
Roman Wilson
What is funny about this list is Kiran has a higher grade per NFL.com that everyone except Roman Wilson. And obviously we were not going WR after taking Odunze.

Ah, Ravens pick a guy I was hoping we might try to jump back into this round for with Adisa Isaac. I liked him better than Trice and Elliss and the other 3rd rounders.

It seems like every year the Ravens pick that Mel Kiper Defender that sits on the board for way longer than he expected. More often that not it works out for them too.

That’s subjective. Are we talking before the Bears were eliminated from playoff contention? After the Browns game? Securing the #1 pick saved Flus is so many ways.

Anywho, D should be top 10. It’s the only thing he has to focus on.

No it really isn't. Guys like Sweat, Johnson and Moore all spoke about the moral and culture.

Here are some names of guys we brought in for an in-person meeting. Including the guys who have been picked, I was most surprised at the number of DBs we reached out too. I think we draft one of the three listed here.

Nehemiah Pritchett, CB, Auburn
Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame
Dadrion Taylor-Demerson, Safety, Texas Tech
Dylan Laube, RB, New Hampshire
Jha’Quan Jackson, WR, Tulane
Austin Booker, Edge, Kansas

If the position is as empty as people here claim I'd be surprised if Booker is not the pick if he's there.

At least by The Huddle Report he's the one that ranks higher in their class and the overall board than the DBs do.

Show me where i claimed that? You can't and once again making shit up. There is players sitting there at a position of need that could actually help us next year though instead of waiting one or two years for a tackle to hopefully develop.
Imagine passing on guys at positions of beed to draft a qb in round 1 pick #8 after signing a free agent qb for $180 million 6 weeks earlier.

His in game management is borderline r3tarded

To your asterisk: Player morale is high bc of Caleb Freaking Williams and the stable of WRs.

Flu routinely helped the Bears lose games and currently has a losing record. No excuses for HC. He can sit down, stfu and coach up Dexter and Pickens.

I am talking about player morale for the past two years. If you listen to the players and how they talk and talk about Flus they had all bought in and it showed up on the field every week. It was obvious if you paid attention. There was no quit on the team especially the defense.
Keeping team morale is probably the most important part of being a head coach. Teams that believe win the close games.

If you think the defense had any part in the majority of the losses I dont know what to tell you. He took some risks that did not pay off but he wouldn't have to if the O had any semblence of consistency. His D and play calling were dominant for most of the second half of the season. Feel however you want but every coach is going to have his warts. His are miniscule compared to his positives at this point IMO.

I don't think you were paying attention.

The only time I saw the defense show up was because they were threatened with a rookie QB unlikely to score.

The defense had a lot of losses they can hang around Flus' neck.
I've seen Lovie's Bears. I know what prevent is and how it can work. Besides that it's outdated as a mainstay of a defense, Flus' concept is ass.
Maybe another DE will turn it into greatness but for the team he has it has been ass.

This is a good call. They love to draft CB and still could use a young safety with upside.

Plus, the top 30 visits (especially when combined with a nice performance at the Senior Bowl) are a tell for Poles and Cunningham.

I think Hart might fit that description.

Hell, why not spoil Williams even more?

“10 Best Available Wide Receivers

1 Troy Franklin, Oregon
2 Javon Baker, UCF
3 Brenden Rice, USC
4 Devontez Walker, North Carolina
5 Jamari Thrash, Louisville
6 Jacob Cowing, Arizona
7 Johnny Wilson, Florida State
8 Ainias Smith, Texas A&M
9 Malik Washington, Virginia
10 Isaiah Williams, Illinois

10 Best Available Tight Ends

1 Ja'Tavion Sanders, Texas

5 Jared Wiley, TCU
6 Dallin Holker, Colorado State
7 Brevyn Spann-Ford, Minnesota
8 Trey Knox, South Carolina
9 AJ Barner, Michigan
10 Jack Westover, Washington

I’m shocked Franklin is still an option. I thought he was a 2nd round player.

Rice, Baker, Walker, and Sanders are all viable options too.

10 Best Available Defensive Tackles

1 Mekhi Wingo, LSU
2 Brandon Dorlus, Oregon
3 Tyler Davis, Clemson

5 Leonard Taylor III, Miami
6 Jaden Crumedy, Mississippi State
7 Gabe Hall, Baylor
8 Marcus Harris, Auburn
9 Jordan Jefferson, LSU
10 Fabien Lovett Sr., Florida State

I like Dorlus because he’s talented and he plays inside and out.

5 Kris Abrams-Draine, Missouri
