Pineiro 6 of 9 today. Fry 7 of 9.

Updated camp numbers:

Pineiro - 38 of 45 - 84 percent

Fry - 41 of 49 - 84 percent

Wow, tight.
Pre-season games will hopefully make this an easy decision for Pace/Nagy. Think you have to give the slight edge to Pineiro at the moment based on him having a stronger leg.

Pineiro so far has done better where it counts...inside the confines of Soldier Field...

If they end up with similar then you would think that Eddie would still have the advantage.

I don’t know exactly what the coaches are thinking about all this, but I’d tend to agree with you because of Pineiro’s “pop” and because it does seem like more people consider him to be more of a prototypical NFL kicker.

Surely the Kickers hang out with players at brekkie/lunch/din din
after family fest, everyone must know about Eddy. I didn't go. I was taking a trailer to Indy that day and drove back to Chicago for another load.

As Hub said this morning on the Score......Fry is a decent kicker.......however when Eddie kicks there is this "sound" that comes with his kicks that indicates he is special.

Having been a long snapper in my past life I am well aware of that "sound".

Go Eddie

Nope. Pendejo would be a mistake. You will see... if Pace doesn't.

Eddy Pineiro is the new Bears kicker, his kicking power and accuracy is insane and with how crazy the weather gets at soldier field at times whether is raining snowing or windy that's exactly what the bears need in a kicker.

Yes....I am afraid of windy conditions for Cody Fry.

Man if Pendejo is selected I can't wait to see how many game missing kicks he has to rub it all of your faces.

Are the kickers going to alternate tonight? Or is Nagy going to give them alternate full games? Has anyone heard?

Have not heard, but you would think that if they value weather conditions as an evaluation factor, then both would kick during every game to make sure they both got very similar conditions, but I'm not the coach.....

Good question. Heard Dickerson and Wiederer say they believe they’ll both play each game, but don’t know if they’ll do a true 1-for-1 alternating.

I can’t wait for EDDY DINERO to establish himself as firmly in the lead after tonight.

Fun fact I just found out today:

Eddy Pineiro has never kicked when it’s been below 40 degrees in his life.
Field trip to the Antarctic? Do it Nagy.
