Maybe Pagano will give up playcalling too.

Lazor is no better than Nagy. Pagano playcalls like he is scared.

The announcer made a great call on one of the 3rd and 6 plays. Bears went 4 wide out and all of them ran the fly route. Not a single guy as a safety valve hot read behind this O line and immobile QB.

Seasons over, Bears can actually finish last place in the division

Unsurprisingly the nearly 50 year old guy who has never achieved anything in the NFL as a play caller didn’t do anything ground breaking here. The screen for a loss on 3rd and 5 in the 4th quarter had Nagy’s smell all over it anyway., it all looked very similar.

We’ve had some bad offences over the years so the competition is pretty fierce, but this is right up there as one of the worst. It hurts my eyes watching it, especially as there actually are some decent targets out there like Robinson and Mooney.

The sad thing is we all knew this was going to happen even when we were 5-1.

had a lot of Nagy's bullshit 'wasted down' plays for sure. RB by committee was pretty unused still. this was yet another highly winnable game that wouldn't have even been close if not for Patterson's kick return. which, speaking of him, why is he still being used so much on offense in gimmick plays? he was actually effective when it made sense. this offense has way too much east-west and not enough just simply going forward.

it's unfortunate Foles got hurt, but he was off by like 5 yards on a multitude of wide open catches almost the entire game. since we're playing Clue on why the offense is so terrible, and we've supposedly ruled out Nagy as a suspect (Lazor calling plays is some bullshit ruse, calling it what it is), I'm going to say maybe it was the quarterback all along!

I don't remember who said it earlier, but they replied to me saying durrrr the reason the playcalling looks the same is because durrrr it's the same playbook. the Nagy playbook is enriched with a lot of great shit like Oompa Loompa or Willy Wonka and maybe there's an Omaha or Japan in there too. that's not the problem. the fucking problem is WHICH plays are being called, which was no different under Lazor than it was under Nagy.

learn how to identify the real problem, you'll go places in life then.

am i the only person, at least early in the game, that felt like the plays were more "NFL" like? it just appeared to be less cutesy.

i'm going to have to force myself to go back and watch it again to see if it was really different then.

Lazor didn't call a great first game. Would have been surprised if he did, especially with this OL.

Actually, Foles played a really poor game.

I don't know if Lazor is the best choice to call the offense... but the good news is Nagy is not calling it. Nagy needs to be the HC and take care of a team with the most penalties in the league, and sit players who are not playing proper NFL football, like dropping balls, not blocking, not tackling properly, etc.

Lazor started the game with a Nagy play...A lateral pass to Mooney for no gain.

Go Bears!

lol
