He is literally the exact same weight.Dexter looks like he is about 285 right now, could be the plan is to use him in a rotation as a base DE and slide him inside as a rush DT.

Jeanty was measured at 5'8 and change 211lbs. LT was measured 5'10 and change 221lbs... thats a bit of a difference.
I can definitely see some Kareem Hunt in Jeanty's style. Maybe he will be great but in my opinion he isn't worth a top 10 pick. I think his style could just as easily be a flop because he is an undersized power rusher.
We don't know his actual speed because he is scared it will hurt his draft stock. He also was on video saying Chicago was too cold for him and since they have Swift he didn't want to be there.
Idk, maybe he'll be great and I'll loose silly for doubting him, I'm not an expert so if Poles does pull the trigger, oh well go Jeanty... I guess.
Sorry I must have missed your top TE list request, but anyway... The constant whining about me saying Warren was a reasonable target for the Bears because of his versatility and the way Ben Johnson could use him...It’s subjective and I legitimately just went down a PFF list.
Still waiting on your top TE list
Plenty of top RBs run the 40, Saquon was top 5 and ran it. What makes Jeanty special? He's hiding his speed and he doesn't even want to play in the cold... I'd pass on him.L.T played at 215 most of his career. That's from his own mouth. People put way too much stock in a few pounds. The reality is people's weights fluctuate day to day because of water. It's nothing to see a 5LB swing on the scale.
His speed is on the tape. He has nothing to gain by running a 40. His draft stock is already solidified. He's not Gibbs fast. Not many are and in reality he doesn't need to be. He's fast enough to bust some big runs.
So if you are going to use the standard of average draft position of the top DT’s in the league I think it’s entirely fair for you to share the top TE’s in the league and average draft position.Sorry I must have missed your top TE list request, but anyway... The constant whining about me saying Warren was a reasonable target for the Bears because of his versatility and the way Ben Johnson could use him...
BEFORE the rest of the "professional" draft experts echoed the same thing in multiple mocks and now have him potentially being drafted before the Bears pick...
Says more about you and the others that keep trying to claim that I am out of my mind for the suggestion.
The sad part is you don't even realize how ridiculous you sound, passing on a player, because he opted out of a portion of the undwear Olympics. I'm glad you're not a scout or a G.M. there are ways to track game speed now in real time and scouts have built up data bases on how those numbers compare across the nation and in the league. IF Jeanty s game speed was THAT much of a concern, he wouldn't even be in consideration for a top 15 selection. He's played in the cold plenty. You're reaching for excuses. You don't have to like the prospect, but stop the silly.Plenty of top RBs run the 40, Saquon was top 5 and ran it. What makes Jeanty special? The difference, which you densely keep missing, is that Warren is a unique player that can be utilized in various creative ways.So if you are going to use the standard of average draft position of the top DT’s in the league I think it’s entirely fair for you to share the top TE’s in the league and average draft position.
Can’t wait to see the results!
Stop yourself. I said I didn't think he was worth #10 because of his size and play style. The running the 40 is just a side issue. The sad part is you don't even realize how ridiculous you sound, passing on a player, because he opted out of a portion of the undwear Olympics. Gibbs isn't just a RB, he is a weapon when used creatively in various facets of the game. Same goes for Warren who can run pass block punt and receive.
You continue to avoid the question entirely. The difference, which you densely keep missing, is that Warren is a unique player that can be utilized in various creative ways.
There is no simple apples to apples comparison for hybrid players. The same goes for Jalon Walker who is basically an offball linebacker.
If I were an idiot Lions fan, I can imagine having this same argument with people like you for wanting to draft Jahmyr Gibbs at #12 (which I did)

If Membou is there at 10, get him. If Poles trusts Mike Green/James Pearce off the field, I'm on board. If they believe Mykel Wright will become more than just a good run defender, no complaints....Can he play LT because we really need one of them. Our current TE is far more serviceable than our current LT. We need an impact player on the DL more than we need another TE at this time. I have to admit though that I did not know Warren was a punter too.
If you took that as some I won't play in Chicago because it's too cold I have some used condoms I can sell you. He'll play wherever he gets drafted.Stop yourself. I said I didn't think he was worth #10 because of his size and play style. The running the 40 is just a side issue.
He literally says: I'm not gonna lie, Chicago is too cold.
I don't take it as a Cedric Benson situation. He'll absolutely pretend it never happened and instantly say his Grandfather was a Walter Payton fan and tell us he loves Chicago. If you took that as some I won't play in Chicago because it's too cold I have some used condoms I can sell you. He'll play wherever he gets drafted.
If the Bears were to take Warren at 10, I would not like it..................but with Johnson as the HC I could understand it. He also would probably be BPA if he fell to ten.The difference, which you densely keep missing, is that Warren is a unique player that can be utilized in various creative ways.

You know how you get better? Draft better players at positions of high importance and high impact. The Bears have constantly been one of the most injured offensive line units no matter what they do. Doesn't matter the players no matter the coaches. So they need to add depth in the second round there. They also to upgrade the talent and youth at defensive tackle because Billings is 30 and Jarrett is 32. If you don't have depth and talent at DT you don't have a defense. The Eagles were already a playoff team loaded with talent, they could afford to draft for depth. They had players like Cox and Graham who had one foot out of the door already so of course they were looking to replace them.
Jordan Davis is not a 3T that would need to share snaps with Carter who was a former teammate.
Keep trying.
It took Hargreaves about 6 years to become a stud. Madubuike took 4 years. There are roughly 100ish DT’s in the league and this is your list? lol thanks for proving my pointChris Jones #37
Justin Madubuike #71
Quinnen Williams #3
Jalen Carter #9
Justin Simmons #19
Dexter Lawrence #17
Vita Vea #12
Daron Payne #13
Kenny Clarke #27
Javon Hargrave #89
Please stop cherry picking only the highest drafted players at the position. Even when you try the majority still fall outside of the top 10.
It's not difficult to find a good DT in the draft, and MOST are not top 10 picks meaning that unless the Bears are really good they can find another DT somewhere during the mid first round where they will be picking
@SugarWalls @bamainatlanta etc
He said he weighs 310 now. Which is a couple of pounds less than last year from what I readHe is literally the exact same weight.
