He also seems pretty honed in on OT too considering his first mock was will campbell. As much as people rip on Biggs, he's probably right more often than any other bears reporter and appears to be the most connected of the bunch

Been saying that for years……. but he’s fat so people just make fat jokes about him instead 😂

Dont get the love for travis hunter. I watched plenty of colorado games because I wanted to see shadeur.

He's good but what makes him special is he plays 140 snaps a game on both ends at a very high level. If he's playing one side in the NFL what makes him special is basically removed from the equation.

He's not the best WR or the best CB in the draft. Only way he makes sense to me at #3 is if he's playing full time corner and then rotating in at WR every so often.

But then you risk him being completely drained and get ran all over on the defensive side.
Hmmmmmm i'm not sure he isn't the best WR and maybe the best CB in this draft.

Kyle Williams is my favorite of the wrs they've met with. He'd add an explosive element that they are lacking snd potentially give them that jameson Williams threat (not in a criminal way)
The first question I ask him is “what is your user name on Draft Kings?”

@playthrough2001 sorry for putting this in here since not draft related but it's the most active thread we have so just wanted people to see it.

That's a long time ago, but it seems he's only really correct about the food.

Will Johnson’s injury that has lingered so long worries me. I think I'd lean more to Hunter because of that.

I havent watched any of the DBs because Bears have an abundance at the position and i figured they wouldnt be taking nay in day 1/2, so I have no idea/nothing of value to add.

2025 Draft Class Superpowers

“Abdul Carter
Penn State · Edge · Junior
SUPERPOWER: First-step quickness/snap-count anticipation

The league's elite pass rushers routinely display exceptional first-step quickness and snap-count anticipation. Carter pounces off the ball like a cat, showcasing a three-step burst that leaves blockers in a daze when trying to shadowbox with the sensational sack artist. As a dynamic athlete who explodes off the edge on the center's ball squeeze, the Penn State star exhibits the Hall of Fame traits that helped two of my former teammates, Derrick Thomas and Bruce Smith, earn gold jackets as pass-rush specialists.

Travis Hunter
Colorado · WR/CB · Junior
SUPERPOWER: Ball skills

The reigning Heisman Trophy winner is a spectacular athlete with extraordinary hand-eye coordination and ball skills. Hunter tracks the ball like an MLB center fielder, exhibiting outstanding over-the-shoulder technique and high-point skills in traffic. With the 6-foot, 188-pounder's ability to dominate opponents as a catch-and-run specialist, Hunter's additional capacity to expand the quarterback's strike zone makes him a coach's dream as a WR1. Meanwhile, when the two-way star lines up a cornerback, opposing passers who throw in his direction risk turning the ball over.

Ashton Jeanty
Boise State · RB · Junior
SUPERPOWER: Contact balance

Jeanty's contact balance sets him apart from his contemporaries in this class -- and elite RB prospects of the recent vintage -- as a rare back capable of running through defenders utilizing force and finesse. The 5-8 1/2, 211-pounder mixes various jump-cuts and skip-and-dip maneuvers with stiff arms to fend off defenders in traffic. Jeanty's unique ability to pinball off defenders without losing speed/quickness is a testament to his ballerina-like footwork, balance and body control. With the league's running back renaissance of late, the NFL world could quickly fall in love with the 2024 Doak Walker Award winner.

Tetairoa McMillan
Arizona · WR · Junior
SUPERPOWER: Jump-ball skills

Defending a 6-4 1/8, 219-pound pass catcher with NBA length and leaping ability is hard. McMillan's supersized frame and athleticism give him a significant advantage in isolated matchups against defensive backs in a league with a limited amount of 6-footers on the defensive perimeter. As a former high school basketball and volleyball player, McMillan excels at playing the ball in the air on alley-oop tosses down the boundary and in the end zone. With his phenomenal leaping ability and extraordinary wingspan expanding the quarterback's target zone, McMillan enters the league with the potential to emerge as a prolific red-zone scoring machine.

Bucky Brooks on Kelvin Banks Jr. (his article is about players you should not overthink)

“Kelvin Banks Jr.
Texas · OT · Junior

Perhaps Banks' lack of sizzle hurts him in a class that is loaded with athletic freaks. The Texas standout is a classic blind-side protector with the balance, body control and agility to shadowbox QB hunters off the edge. In addition, Banks is an effective box-out blocker in the run game who shields and stalemates defenders at the point of attack. With the 6-5 1/8, 315-pounder nimble enough to skip-pull and scoot to the second level, Banks is the prototypical left tackle who has flourished in the league for decades. Though others might look better in drills, few can match his production and performance in pads.”

I could not agree more with his assessment.

Here’s a bonus.

“Will Johnson
Michigan · CB · Junior

While the scouting community anxiously awaits a Johnson workout to confirm his speed and athleticism, the tape already reveals a plug-and-play pro with a scheme-diverse game. The 6-foot-1 3/4, 194-pounder possesses every tool needed to emerge as a perennial Pro Bowler. From his quick feet and flawless shadowboxing in press to his exceptional instincts, awareness and technique in off/zone coverage, Johnson can go deep into his bag to stymie elite pass catchers on the perimeter. Moreover, he can tweak his game weekly to put himself in the best position to make splash plays. Though critics worry about his long speed, explosive quickness and injury history, Johnson arrived at Michigan as a ballyhooed recruit and proceeded to play like a blue-chipper whenever he stepped on the field. Given his stellar performance and production as a starter for two-plus years in Ann Arbor, Johnson has the pedigree and game to be a CB1 in any system.”

It’s an excellent read.
