He can play DE or LB so he will get plenty of snaps and make an absolute impact. I don't care about allegations from college that never materialized, his coaches loved him and said his character was excellent.

I dont have a problem with them going RB or S. Just not at 10 as I think that is too high. Better off trading down for anything.

If you arent planning on extending Jones then getting a LT now is pretty smart to allow them a year of NFL development. If for example Josh Simmons falls to the 2nd then I would draft him because you dont need him to start immediately so can let him fully recover from his injury.

As for DL, getting and Egde or IDL makes sense if you want a solid rotation inside and Billings and Grady are older and get banged up. The Eagles IDL of Carter, Davis, Williams and Ojomo reeked havoc in the SB.

So dont think absolute starter is a must. Gotta balance this year with a longer term view.

Im on board with taking OL or DL with any one of the picks, I'm not on board with passing up players that are upgrades over the current starter just because of perceived positional value.

This Vegas odds shift is interesting. Bears all of a sudden the favorite to draft Jeanty. If it happens I’m going to hope like hell he is Walter Payton v2!

Is Jeanty a better prospect than Bijan Robinson? I’d say hell no and honestly Robinson hasn’t really done much.

He may, or may not be, but most sites have Jeanty as the higher-rated prospect. But to say Robinson hasn't done much is a stretch. He was a pro-bowler and the 3rd leading rusher, and was 4th in all-purpose yards. He is an outstanding player and offensive weapon.

Recent reports project growing confidence about Simmons’ knee, which has moved him up last-minute mock drafts.
“Teams don’t sound concerned about his long-term availability, as they anticipate he’ll be ready around the start of the regular season,” wrote The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, who mocked Simmons to the Bears with the 10th overall pick. Howe also mentioned some concerns about the 22-year-old’s maturity and passion for the game, but emphasized that he has the long-term upside to be a first-round pick.
Simmons was also projected to the Dolphins at No. 13 by CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones after medical rechecks cleared his knee.

Yea, I don’t care what those reports say. He’s going to way later than that, but someone will take him and he’ll be an average player. Mocking him top 15 is crazy. Facts are facts. Find me just one player in the NBA or NFL who played at an elite level after that injury. Just one.
