Don't know what his wingspan was at his pro day, but it seems combine measurements were screwed up this year. That being said. Andrew Whitworth who was a 16-year NFL LT was asked about offensive linemen and length. He said for guys with shorter arms, it's more about quick feet, solid base, and technique. Campbell has all those traits and more.

I don't see them taking a WR in the first two rounds. He'd be pretty far down the target list after RB1/Swift, DJM, Odunze, TE1/Kmet so target #5 at BEST.

i get the sentiment, but the reality is we have 2 WR's that are very good, then 1 vet that is mediocre at best on a short term deal, and then a bunch of bums

investing a rookie contract(im sure you see what WR's are getting in FA lately) into a young #3 WR that can emerge to become more than that in a pass happy NFL is a valuable resource to have.

not to mention if god forbid something happens to moore or rome or both of them. then what? what appears to be a somewhat strength of the roster can turn south pretty quick

You can't really mess up measuring wingspan. Pretty certain that stayed the same or was real close which still leaves it incredibly short.

Feels like a guy kc or Philly will take late if he really falls to them in 1. It also feels like Philly might do some serious dirty work trashing really good players anonymously to get them at their pick annually.



I'd much prefer burch or almost any of the 2nd/3rd round edges to mykel/shemar. I can't imagine burch going before the Bears pick at 39 either. The edge I really want is green because he's probably the best pass rusher in the draft but the bears will never take him

Could you or Andrew whitworth name an elite LT with a 77 inch wingspan and 32 5/8 - 33 inch arms? People can discredit the measurements if they want, but you should be able to point to examples in the NFL.

Seems like betting on a guy at 10 to overcome those physical limitations, a wonky stance, and a 72 PFF grade in college to turn into a cornerstone LT in the NFL is an awful bet to make. Said it before but he’s an inferior Peter Skoronski, and Skoronski is currently struggling at OG. I’d wager the titans are regretting their decision because that’s awful value.

I do too. I really hadn’t considered Egbuka at 39. He would be a great fit with DJ and Rome.

Yeah, might be looking more at one of the Ohio St boyz, (JTT or Sawyer) who are more of the traditional 4-3 DE size than the other 3 mentioned.

Probably because most of the draft analysts i've listened say that when it comes to wingspan they don't think it matters for the OL as much as they like to use it for players on the DL. They say they care more about the arm length when talking about Ol/Tackles.

You really do let this Campbell thing get to you. You say the same things over and over again about him. Skoronski was drafted to play G, not LT, they drafted JC Latham the following year to play LT for them and Skoronski has not struggled at G, he's actually played well.

There's actually legit draft people that think Campbell can play T in the NFL so lets just see if he actually gets drafted by a team to play T and if so then we can see how he does because we don't actually know.

I've learned not to engage him on this, but the Titans coach at the time of draft said they didnt have a specific position in mind for him. TEN ended up thinking his best position was G which is true, but that misses the other side of that coin which is "because they dont think he can be a decent OT". The Titans lost their starting LT, RT, and swing tackle for huge amount of time in '23 and had the worst OTs in the league, and never tried to play Skoronski at T even for a game to see what they had - you could maybe say "thats because they needed a G" but they did move their RG to OT for a few games due to injury so thats doesnt track either. like, TEN somehow has the foresight to know who they are drafting in the future and that dictated where they were playing peter in the present?! make it make sense lol

Imagine you dont want to admit you were wrong and go from there. Here's the current GM on this same topic:

"Carthon said, per Paul Kuharsky. "Yes, he came in, he was an All-American left tackle in college but — and we talked about this with Peter the other day — at this league, there are bigger, longer players and the length presents a problem now.""

I think he was a pretty good G in '24 but I dont watch a ton of Titans games so relying on PFF and their fan feedback for that.
