I was a little surprised by 5 but should not have been. His team had the best record last year, and went 1-1, as they did this year. The day the Bears lost on double-doink, I watched both games with a Ravens' fan, and we both left miserable. On that day, I thought Jackson's performance as a playoff QB was below Caleb Hanie.

His team was favored 3 times (winning once)

He's thrown for under 195yards 3 times

It really is. Fumble that anywhere else on the field, and it belongs to the offense. Fumble in the endzone out of bounds, and for some reason it becomes a turnover. I get that it shouldn't be a TD, but still.

I might have exaggerated slightly. But it’s still a horrifically dumb rule. There is no other way a defense can be rewarded a turnover without possessing the ball.
