Terrible drive by the Browns...no throws past the sticks. Too many runs and short yardage plays that kept the clock running. Alot of wasted time for a team with only one timeout left..

What a stupid decision by Andy to run Mahomes who already had a hurt foot on a bootleg run on 3rd and 1. You can see where Nagy gets his genius.

Packers going to get an easy super bowl win, great.
Yes, clearly if a QB's toe hurts a little the HC should KNOW they will then suffer a concussion. It's science!

The best answer is what the rule is. Let me give you another scenario: Bears are on their own 1 yard line, and a shotgun snap goes over Watson's head and rolls out of the back of the endzone. Should the defense not be awarded that 2 points for a safety? They never touched it, never made a tackle, it was a mistake completely by the offense.

So why award the safety in that scenario, but not the touchback in the other endzone?

No, that is not a good example.

The browns were advancing the ball, lost possession on a fumble that traveled out of bounds in the endzone.
The key here is they were advancing the ball, and loss of possession is to severe a penalty. At worst they would be looking at loss of down and the play reverts back to the original line of scrimmage.

In your example the offense is not advancing the ball, so a different set of rules should apply.

That’s makes zero sense.
The question was "didn't the Packers luck out the last time they won a SB?"
Yes. Their opponent lost the starting QB and the Pack won by 6.

What doesn't make sense about that?

If you stopped running plays that you thought your quarterback was going to get hurt in...what actual plays would you call.
land how cool would that be to know when your quarterback was going to be hurt.
