I am happy to see Niemi get another chance at the Cup. 38 saves out of 40 shots against the Red Wings is phenomenal. San Jose should be thanking is right now. They got a great goaltender for years to come.

Eh, it's more Vancouver clicking. They've scored 3 pp goals (2 more very close to the pp) and everyone is contributing. SJ's defense isn't helping anything, but still.

Tonight, yes Van was flying and SJ (Eager in particular) completely lost composure. 5 pp goals? Laughable.
Game 1 was quite different. Classic choke.
Toews was right though. This Vancouver team is "beat-able;" however, I'm not sure there is a defense remaining good enough to deal with them.
I wonder if Tampa might have the best shot at freezing the tempo to a snail's pace with enough of an offensive punch to put them away.
