I’ve watched enough Troy Andersen, amazing how few people are spelling his name right, to know he can’t shed blocks. If a defender gets on him, he’s fine.
He is a blur of violence when he can run to the hit. It’s crazy to watch, but he can’t shed blocks at all.

Its interesting to me - it seems like the younger generation of podcasters, journalists, bloggers, etc are bringing new and fresh perspectives to the Bears, while the legacy media on radio and newspaper publications (even if attached to the ones online) are just still selling the same old Bears fear porn.
It feels like the beginning of a tectonic shift in how our local sports teams are covered. It'll take time, but I am willing to bet smarter, more critical but less cynical news and reports start to take over and become the norm, and the "hot take McCaskeys always suck" journalism is going to slowly die off from here...

I spend less and less time reading The Tribune for info on the Bears. I feel the writers know so little. Watching their YouTubes is painful.
I miss the days of Moon Mullins drinking and the open propaganda of Chalk Talk with old school fear of ever mentioning anything bad about Larry Mey… forget it. I’m not saying his name. The dude’s find me.

I have to laugh on his comment on Faalele. "His most significant issues are technique-related. Easy to fix with coaching." I am not saying it is not correctable. I have no idea. But there can be a lot of issues with technique that are not necessarily easy to fix for various reasons - physical, mental, etc.

Man, he wasn’t lying. He does have everyone run to the ball. The whole defense was running to the ball carrier. He said in case there is a fumble, the chance is higher that his team will get the recovery if the ball carrier fumbles. And that was the case.
