3rd round pick*
He will undoubtedly be on an NFL roster next year as hell be a 3rd round pick
hell?

Maybe Pace will trade up and draft him in the second?
Oh wait, never mind........

Likely will have special teams value right away because of his speed and play strength, and there is still some potential for NFL teams to tap into as a receiver. But he will need to work on his blocking technique to add to his overall value as a player.

GRADE: 6.8 (Potential Role Player - 4th Round)

OVERALL RANK: 129

POSITION RANK: TE7

PRO COMPARISON: Lance Kendricks

Yeah, I think 3rd is his ceiling. He may go earlier, though, because of his receiving skill set. The fact he can easily transition from backfield to slot to in line to outwide X and effectively run from there is something teams covet. There are some guys who consider him TE 1. Of course, that’s more a testament to the argument of what is a TE at this point: Y vs U vs F/H.

Edit: the database big board has him going between round 2-3. I’ll lean towards consensus in something as difficult as draft prognostication.
