If we could just unplug Trubisky and plug in Mahomes, without dealing with picks and contracts, I would agree...But to mortgage the team to the extent we would have to to get him, (which isn't happening anyway), would be a disaster.
Disagree

Yes, sacks.
Yeah, no. On the "best throw falling sideways" play he had a WR open for a first down before he even turned and ran. Not worth arguing tho because as I said I think he's a great QB still just had a bad game.

They did bring up on Speak for yourself yesterday that he has the same QB rating in the Superbowl (over 3 tries) as Rex Grossman so that was funny.

Is that the same sideways throw where the pass was dropped? That one?

Yep that one. Don't worry about the fact that he could have had the same distance completion before he even ran backwards right?

What does any of this matter?

He threw a pass.

It was dropped.

End of discussion.
Sure what does it matter that he passed up the 100x easier play to throw a ball into triple coverage. Sorry you cant grasp that simple concept or have an unbiased opinion on Mahomes.

Cool. Drops are drops. Doesnt matter the level of difficulty. The fast that it was a ridiculous throw only makes it worse. But yeah, blame Mahomes. Blame Mahomes for being pressured every time the ball was in his hands.

Only CCS. Only Bears fans, man...

I'm not tho. This has nothing to do with Trubisky who I have openly said sucks for years. Good deflection tho. Trump level.
There's no deflection. Only so long you can argue with someone about a dropped pass.

IF anything, the super bowl only made me think more of Mahomes. Hell you put him in The Bears and that's basically what he would look like under Matt Nagy. Running for his life, making amazing throws, and Bears receivers dropping passes constantly.

Was the point of this thread somehow supposed to be shade on Mahommes so we feel better that he wasn't drafted by the bears??

Good luck with that....SMH

No. It was to express sympathy to Mahomes because he got his ass kicked due to his useless teammate’s inability to block, catch or get open.

Thanks

Now, that I can see.

Also, seems like folks wanna take credit away from Tampa, who got hot at the right time.

And Mahommes is a great qb.

Im not a 4M nuthugger but I do think he is held to a much higher standard than some of these other QBs people on here would consider. Darnold for instance from the other thread. And before you call out talent again all I read on here is how the Bears will be a 3-4 win team next year because they have no talent. Maybe not from you but Im just saying.

By who. I dont see anyone on her advocating we go after Darnold. You asked why he seems to have interest around the league and I told you. But personally I think Darnold sucks.
