Both of these 2v7 matchups were unwatchable. If the NFL cared, they would go back to a 6 seed playoff instead of 7. It's a vastly superior product.

And even if the games had ended up OK, to me it just cheapens the season by adding more playoff spots.

Many will argue it means more teams are alive longer, but it renders early season games moot. Sorry, but if you start 1-6, you should be out of contention, not have a chance to get back.

I remember so many loudmouth Cowboys fans in the 90s and early 2000s - they deserve it.

I will never tire of the Cowboys losing and their fans crying ?.
