Exactly what it is. And the team respects that by allowing him to show up and putting him on the PUP because he can't get fined for not practicing while on the PUP and he is actually showing up with his team. Sounds like a deal is coming soon.

For the life of me I will never understand why the 9ers took Lance over Fields.
Legit both just as athletic, but fields was a much much more refined passer.
According to Waddle, he heard people close to Shanny said that Trey Lance was never his guy, but the upper management wanted him...
Lance could end up being the best of the bunch, but I never saw it last year at all. He throws fastballs nonstop and has zero touch.

What shocked me was the cost to get lance. It was pretty bizarre seeing how much draft capital went into taking lance. You throw that at possible generational talent. Idt I ever saw that with lance
