I apologize if these were posted elsewhere or posted previously; there's no date on the cuts so I don't know when they were made. Roster Cuts:
  • Rysen John TE
  • Carson Taylor DL
  • Christian Albright LB
  • CJ Avery LB
  • Noah Dawkins LB
  • Javin White LB* (I believe asterisks means injury)
  • Michael Joseph DB*
  • Jayson Stanley*

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
What about that grass from Caddyshack?

Anyhow, I kind of miss that astroturf from the 80's at Soldier Field
I'm pretty sure it is no more. I know it was moved to Hanson Stadium, but I'm fairly positive that it is or has gone through a complete redo.

Wasn't Javin White supposed to replace Smith? I could have sworn someone told me that on here

They're re-sodding before the first game. Has already been announced. But let the freaking out commence...

(also.... WTF is Bad Bunny?)
I at least am aware of that. But this highlights how the Bears have no control over how the stadium is used.

Also, I’m sure the Park District will miraculously find a way to **** up the re-sodding.

I don't think tagging and signing long term are mutually exclusive. I think Smith should have got something done this year while Poles was still at the table. Taking a bit less than you want is like an insurance policy that guarantees you generational wealth. It puts all the risk on the Bear. As Remi has pointed out numerous times, that has value.

It seems some want to burn both sides of that candle. Insurance policies aren't free.
I could see this running the course of the Lance Briggs contract dispute. Briggs had a higher value on himself than what the rest of the league had. He went out shopping his services and in the end, realized Chicago had a competitive offer. He did more damage to his long term value by trashing the team and his reputation and not taking the decent money sooner. Roquan could take a very solid contract now and be the face of the defense for this new front office and there is likely some good endorsement money and more upside there than simply wanting 2-3 million more per year to try and be the highest paid at his position and reset the ILB market price. I would think an agent might help him understand that, but at this point, I'm just happy to get him back on the field.

I would hate to be the guy that basically tells players that their cut-- they usually tell them to go see the GM
