Landon Donovan doesn't agree with Klinsmann. Surprise, Surprise.

So World Cup hasn't even officially started yet, and a ton of ignorance on my FB and Twitter timelines. I love people.

You guys see people tweeting threats at the wrong Marcello on twitter? Pretty funny how dumb people are....one guy said something like "no wonder Marcello scored on himself he tweets during games" :obama: the guys turned some of the nasty comments into a good laugh which was nice to see, considering how harsh people are.

TFM is supposed to be a satirical website, but I don't think it advertises that well enough. Even me, being a member of a fraternity, get angry seeing some of the stuff on that website. Then I remember it's mostly just satire (though I'm sure there are those who really believe in doing that stuff).

However, I will never understand some people's need to belittle something that they don't like, especially in regards to soccer. I've seen a lot of stuff on the internet bashing the World Cup and it just boggles my mind why people would take time out of their day to respond to something with such anger. I understand that someone may not like it, but what's the point in bashing on it so fervently? I'm guessing it's a little self-esteem booster. Flopping is found in all sports, and if I had my way I would have installed a system to retroactively hand out punishments for diving and flopping.

Great! Also, a big part of why I made the quiz (besides being unable to find anything like this) was to check out the stats after people have taken it. Some interesting ones:

1.) John Brooks is the least known member of the team
2.) The rest of the top 5 least known players are Yedlin, Johannsson, Diskerud, and Chandler
3.) The top 5 least known players can also be called the future of US soccer
4.) Unsurprisingly, no one missed Howard, Altidore, or Dempsey
5.) Surprisingly, someone (or two) missed Bradley...

Now that I think about it, I should have made a special slot for Landon Donovan to see how many people guessed him wrongly being part of the squad...

Johannsson being unknown may just be trying to spell his name though.

USA playing tonight against Ecuador so make sure everyone tunes in. Should be fun to see some of the younger future USMNT players.

Before the game finishes , with like 30 mins to go, the Fire game will start.:obama: Can't they schedule these so the game starts AFTER, you know, your freaking national team plays.

Anyone watch the US vs. Ecuador game? Man o man, something needs to be done about the quality of US goal finishing? It seems like nobody has the ability to put the damn ball in the back of the net.

Bobby Wood, how the **** does he not put that ball in the back of the net at the end of the game?
