-- North was successful by being well informed and controversial...and the book kind of backed that up. He swears that Wilt is the best player to ever play the game, and says "that's no slight to Jordan," then goes on to state it at least 4 more times in the book. He also claims that Bobby Hull is the greatest hockey player ever, and it's not even close. Gretzky was really good, an all-timer, but he couldn't fight, so that knocked him down a peg. He thinks Bobby Jenks is the greatest single-season closer in Chicago baseball history...and if he were to field an all-Chicago baseball team, Ryne Sandberg would not be his starting 2b. He holds grudges against people that didn't give him interviews...he thinks Gayle Sayers is the best RB of all-time...Wrigley gets both his first and 2nd votes as best Chicago Sports venue of all time (First w/ the Bears, then with the Cubs)...
