Reading other boards, it's a unanimous yes. Will Stern set Rondo in place? After the dwight thing, it certainly is still possible even though there was no ejection.

There is no choice here. I refuse to believe that anyone in their right mind would not suspend him for game 7. He will get suspended and we will win. Marbury playing all game at PG? Hahaha. Please, those C's are going down!

Re:Official

That's some hoe stuff. They need to sit him out game 7. I think this was more flagrant than Howard elbow. He held Hinrich and then threw him. Stern is bogus if he don't do something about that.

Re:Official

Guys Stern has nothing to do with the suspension. It all has to do with Stu Jackson decision

The elbow didn't connect or else I'd say there is a chance.

Re:Official

2 should be flagrant fouls in 2 games in row might convince the league, but don't it.

Re:Official

its probably not going to happen but it should. He has caused two players to get stiches, committed a flagrant by throwing kirk into the scorers table and should haven't gotten one in game 5 at the end. It sends a really bad precedent that you won't get thrown out no matter what in important games. If it doesn't happen, every foul we commit has to be hard and calculated. Rondo is a smaller Posey and needs to be sat down.

It's not like the league won't suspend guys for critical games (see PHX v. SPURS). The Bulls were classy and didn't retaliate over Game 5, but at some point the league has to enforce the rules to protect its players.

Topic: Will Rondo get suspended?
Yep, very likely we don't see him in Game 7. If Howard got suspended, so will Rondo... game 7 or not.

Its not even questionable... throwing a guy off the court and then throwing an eblow at his face.
He's not going to be around for game 7.
He slung Hinrich into the announcers table, and coupled with the heat the league took on NOT giving Rondo a flagrant on Miller, they won't mess around this time.

Don't forget he also threw him into the scorers table. Those acts combined should equal a suspension IMO.
There's no doubt Rondo deserves a suspension, this is one of the easiest calls all-time IMO. After the Dwight Howard elbow to be fair Rondo must be suspended... However... I doubt the league does anything this series is making too much money and too many headlines (good headlines at that), Stern will protect the product even if it that means enforcing double-standards and protecting the instigator in this case...

He will be suspended.

It's marbury time.

Why do you say that? Boston is a competior anymore this year and a this will be an exciting game 7. I really doubt the league has a prefernce and if anything they would love to paint Rose into a media darling like Wade became at the end of his rookie year.

Re:Official

Rondo definitely deserves a suspension, but I would be willing to bet he doesn't get one.

Re:Official

I didn't think the foul on Kirk was that bad, not worth a suspension anyway. Now the foul on Miller probably was, but they've decided it wasn't already, and I can't see them reversing that.
