I have no idea why that guy Eklund keeps trotting out the Islanders he did it at least once last year and this is, what - the second time this season at least?
Parise, now that makes sense, although the one thing I don't entirely buy is the: "...it would only be as a rental." - well, not necessarily - but it would take some work to get done I suppose.
It would fit the bill, even if no rostered player were moved, then there is still money to pay that salary. Looks all good to me... I'd do it.
