Lets see, nimrod........How does Disney advertise their vacations? Bet they do not mention at all, the ability of these tourists to try and rescue their kids from the jaws of dangerous animals. I bet they mention all about the breakfast with the "characters", the water skiing show with Donald and Goofy. Visiting countless other attractions and spend their money on trinkets and other shit. But not those fucking 10 foot alligators that they allow into their resort unannounced and unimpeded.

All of you so-called gator "experts" are full of shit. Some of you think that it is no fucking big deal to get up on an alligator. I say bullshit to you. Some of you talked about how you would "handle" this gator like you were some Crocadille Dundee or something. Big talk. Noone knows what the **** they would do if they were attacked by anyone or anything.

Well I have handled alligators, trapping them and relocating them away from populated areas into back waters away from people, but I'm sure I have no fucking clue what I'm talking about.

Okay, Bigfoot, I believe you and have confidence that you know what you are doing. My point was really directed at Silence and some of the people who so callously blamed the couple from Nebraska for the death of their child. It just pisses me off when people make judgements about what they would do when danger is at hand and to blame other people for not doing a certain thing.

Hawk you do realize if you put nets or something to block waterways, the Gators will just go around and use land to get into water.

Are you saying that there is not a way to protect people in a Disney park? For example, couldn't they at least build a low wall around the lagoon that a gator couldn't climb over to get into or get out of? There has to be a way to protect people.

This didn't happen INSIDE Disney world...

You mean like blaming them for letting their kid go in a fucking lagoon at night in Florida when gators hunt?

Or do you mean like blaming them for not being right next to the 2 year old, in the lagoon at night in Florida when gators hunt because even if there was no gator he could have decided to go swimming since 2 year olds lack common sense?

I don't blame them for not being able to fight a gator, I blame them for their kid getting into a situation where they needed to save him from a gator.

You sound like a bleeding heart liberal who expects the public to take care of everything for you.

Just stfu.

The problem is all these water ways are interconnected. Gators will find a way to get it to water. I've seen them try crossing Interstate 75 just to get to the other side in marsh lands. It's a never ending cycle, even if you remove them, others will take their place.

GTFOH. Everyone knows alligators can't walk on land. They are like fish. Well at least thats what I would say if I was from Nebraska.

SOunds like you are really getting emotional over there, Ares. How judgemental you are about those parents, also. Truth is that you claim that the parents were to blame with no evidence at hand. All speculation. You don't know how far away the father of the child was, for example. You don't know how deep in the lagoon the kid was. Perhaps he wasn't even in the water. I do know how quickly alligators can move when food is at hand. I know, for example, that gators like to burrow under the surface of a lake or lagoon and just wait for an unsuspecting animal to stick their heads in and take a drink and then grab it. Perhaps that happened?

All I know is that as typical of you, you berate people you disagree with or think are below your intelligence level. Even blaming the parents of a kid without knowing the facts. Pretty serious character flaw in you.

So, Disney World should have armed guards around all their water for alligators? Do you see what you type? Im pretty sure if an alligator was out in the open trying to eat people. They would take it down. But, you are right. They should have had armed guards surround the lagoon locked and loaded. Charlie everywhere mother ******.

Probably better to enlist the Navy SEALS, so they can hide underwater and hit the gators where they live.

In your opinion, how would you handle the safety aspects of this so both the gators and people can survive? Do you know the area in question? I stayed at a resort in Hilton Head and they had gators in the channels that went into and out of the golf course and condos. Biggest gator that I saw was maybe 6 foot.

I bought my son a bait casting outfit while we were there and borrowed it myself to try and catch a fish. Caught one and while bringing it in, a gator followed the fish toward the shore and when I took it out of the water the gator just looked at me with its head on the top of the shore. I took that fish off the hook and tossed it into the water and I never saw anything move so quickly in my life. The gator snapped that fish right out of the air(It was maybe a three pound fish) like a frog would snatch a fly. My wife and kids were watching this at the back of the condo and started yelling for me to get the hell out of there and I did. I was really impressed by that gator.
