Tennessee starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava is in concussion protocol, and his status for the game against No. 12 Georgia is undetermined, sources told ESPN.

I feel like more than a few people have made the point that losing early in the season isn't going to be the biggest factor. But that could be to make the excuse for Notre Dame.

They will always find an excuse to include Notre Dame. There’s not a chance that any other team would make it and they lost to Northern Illinois, but Notre Dame is almost guaranteed to be in the field of 12 every year. But not great team playing a week schedule that they pretend is strong is all that it takes

I could see a Bama fan thinking that since the Vols knocked off the Crimson Tide. However, Tennessee lost to a mediocre team in Arkansas and they lost to Georgia too. Kansas was ranked coming into the season and beat Iowa State (who will be ranked) and BYU. Plus, Kansas barely lost to Illinois and Arizona State. Both of those teams will be ranked later today. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kansas win at home against the Buffaloes. We will see. It’s a fun time of the year.
