Vols secured their spot in the playoffs…kinda the first team to lock in a spot where you know if they are getting a bye or not(they’re not).

Here’s to hoping for a first round home night game at Neyland

I don't get your point at all. My point, and it has been all year, and in this case directed at remy, is anybody can beat anybody on any given day in at least the top 20 or so teams.

P S. The hatred towards the BIG 12 in this group is way the **** off.
Yea I get that point. But teams that can/will win it all have to beat 3 to 4 top 20 twenty teams in a row. Problem with the big 12 is none of the teams are able to do that. I can easily see a big 12 team winning their home opener but it’s not looking likely they get a bye—big 10, acc, sec winners and Boise look to be the bye recipients. The big 12 is a very deep league but there isn’t an elite team.

If Alabama & Ole Miss win and then A&M pulls the upset get ready for absolute chaos for the twelfth playoff spot. Four three-loss SEC teams, no clear way to pick between them (especially if A&M is in the mix).

Yep, and the hottest one is South Carolina

From what I heard on the radio, both teams did. It appears Michigan tried to plant their flag at midfield after the win, and a big brawl broke out.
Which is a classless thing to do. But being pepper sprayed is a bit much.

Who has lost H2H against both Bama and Ole Miss, but beat A&M. And if A&M beats Texas they would seem the strongest of the four. But you can’t just exclude South Carolina because they lost to Bama and Ole Miss then let A&M in who lost to South Carolina!

Like I said, a mess. Their easiest option to just give it to Bama on legacy, but that raises a whole slew of problems and Bama beating Auburn is no sure thing.

It was a pretty big brawl. I’m not taking sides but I could definitely see a cop getting run over in that and responding. I’m sure we will see more reports shortly

And they lost to both Ole Miss and Bama. I think Ole Miss’s awful showing today just about does them in.
Indiana, OSU, Oregon and Penn St are all locks to go from the Big 10.

Looks like USC will beat ND in the 2nd Half, so they are out as well. If Miami doesn’t beat SU, then the ACC is likely only SMU. (Or Miami if they win the ACC). I don’t think the ACC gets 2 now.

I think he’s saying his money is on Texas beating A&M, not Texas beating Georgia. I’d imagine Georgia is the closest thing there is to a favorite.
Georgia is no favorite to win it all. Refs gave them that win last night.

Look around, everyone is flawed. I can see Oregon doing it, but not more than I can see Georgia. It’s just crazy, and who even knows what happens now that Boise State is finally getting their shot after twenty years of waiting.
