I'm happy that Texas gets another shot at Georgia, though honestly I'm not confident in the outcome. Texas seems to be a little short of talent at the wide-receiver position. Hopefully the outcome is different than the last time.

So my thoughts are this:
UGA over Texas, Oregon over PSU, SMU over Clemson, ASU over ISU, and UNLV over Boise

1. Oregon
2. UGA
3. SMU
4. ASU
5. Texas
6. ND
7. PSU
8. Tennessee
9. Indiana
10. Ohio State
11. Alabama
12. South Carolina

If Boise holds on, then they will be in the top 4 and ASU moves down, knocking USC out

Texas over USC, Bama over ND, OSU over PSU, Tennessee over Indiana
If UNLV wins then they get a guaranteed bid as the 5th highest ranked conference winner so South Carolina has to go. I would probably also put BSU over Bama in that scenario as BSU would have lost to 2 conference champs in Oregon and UNLV while Bama lost to 2 teams not in the playoffs.

Lmao I also invest, mr flex

You were the one crying about how easy of an option Texas was, not me.

I just figured since it’s so easy and obvious for you, you’d be making $$ off it to invest more into your “other” investments

Plenty of things that are easy I dont gamble on because it doesnt interest me. Pretty silly thing to run on about.

ahhh you have to be entertained to make money???

and sillier than trying to flex about investments when the notion of sports gambling gets brought up???

also, you were the one that made a big deal about my sports betting...not me. so, maybe take your own advice!

You seem confused. I didnt make a big deal about anything. I just said it wasnt a bold prediction and left it alone.

@Montucky then said something to me which I responded to him and you then responded flexing about your gambling unsolicited. I then told you I dont gamble I invest.

I have no idea why you felt the need to flex about your gambling as if anyone gives a shit. Like I said good for you.

@bamainatlanta asked me in the Illini football thread about Illini and playoffs if they had beaten Minnesota, and finished 10-2.

I don't consider Illinois anywhere near the top teams, and at no time this year did I think playoffs for them. Had Illinois won against MN, at 10-2 they'd have essentially the same case as 11-1 IU (lost only to the top teams). But IU fared much better against common opponents.

I notice in the AP poll that naturally Colorado is ahead of Illinois, based solely on hype. Identical records. Neither with a win to hang their hat on. Two of three Illinois losses were on the road vs #1 and on the road vs #3 in this week's poll. Two of Colorado's losses were by 19 and 17 respectively to teams Illinois beat.

Go figure.

Lmao you were the one that came at me for it, saying how it was so obvious Texas would win. I then clarified that I was betting the spread on the game…to which, you still claimed it to be so obvious.

Keep trying, remy. Flex harder, maybe?!

Nope. I posted a hypothetical that had **** all to do with you. You then decided to respond to my hypothetical about the college playoff bragging about how Texas is beating A&M like you predicted which had absolutely nothing to do with my post.

My post was not about who would win nor was it a prediction. It was a hypothetical scenario. I have no idea why you are so insecure that you decided to respond to it by flexing about your Texas prediction that no one asked you about.

lmao so you posted a hypothetical and then got mad about someone stating that Texas was beating A&M at that moment, which poked a hole in your hypothetical...got it!

You are truly the biggest Soy Boi on this message board and that says a lot! Congrats!

I’d imagine the committee will tinker with the rankings of the eight teams who are virtual locks just to prevent redundant or boring matchups. Currently it would be Georgia vs. UT and Ohio State vs. Indiana…kinda defeats the point of the playoffs just to have intraconference games in the first round.

Also it’s very easy to argue that being the eleven or twelve seed is better than being the nine or two seed.

How the in hell Oregon is rank #1.
I get their record, but who they play? Any SEC team more than likely would beat them..

they played OSU and won at home, but that is about the only tough game they have had for sure. they are a good squad, though
