I don't remember the Tyrann Matthieu one. How did he not go to prison for conspiracy to commit murder?
Really convoluted case out of his native New Orleans in which a family tried to extort Mathieu concerning a sexual assault, and he in-turn put out a bounty on members of the family. Became a federal courts case in which a lot of the docs ended up sealed and full details of which will probably never be fully known.

Hill is really one I can’t wrap my head around how people just forget/ignore what a pos he is. Before the NFL even- choking and punching his pregnant girlfriend.

“Hill, then a 20-year-old star returner and wide receiver at Oklahoma State, was at his apartment with his girlfriend, who was eight weeks pregnant with their child, when she received a text message from someone saying that Hill had been “hitting on high schoolers.” According to the police report and court testimony, Hill threw her phone and laptop into the hallway and shut her out of his room. When she re-entered, Hill hit her in the face, choked her and punched her in the stomach. He put her in a headlock that put “external pressure on her neck that compressed her airway” according to his statement in his guilty plea.”

When people run from an accident, it's almost always 1 of 4 things:

1. The car was stolen
2. They were under the influence of something
3. There's a warrant out for their arrest
4. They had something on/with them that was illegal

The Porsche caused it and was going way too effing fast, but typical American lane discipline is in effect once again.

I drove up to Dallas for Easter and I couldn't believe how much traffic congestion was caused by people hijacking the passing lanes and not allowing faster traffic behind them to overtake.

Wasn’t the car in the car in the passing lane actually doing that? Passing someone?

If you're under the influence or have drugs and paraphernalia on you, it makes sense to run. You're getting dinged for the crash anyway. Leaving the scene of an accident is going to have a less severe penalty than DUI resulting in an injury.

Was the sexual assault allegation true? If so, why didn't they file charges as opposed to trying to extort him?

Possibly. But there's certainly opportunity to yield the passing lane rather than possibly unilaterally deciding, "Hmm I am going fast enough.. Nobody should need to pass me."

I am not saying this person did this, but I saw a crap load of this behaviour over the weekend, with 40ish car backups behind one car with wide open road in front of three cars riding abroad. It's definitely not the right lane driver's fault. If you're driving slower than traffic, the right lane is where you should be. The middle lane isn't responsible, but isn't innocent either. The passing lane bottleneck is the primary problem, especially if they speed up when others finally have a chance to pass them.

Clearly, the Kansas City Chiefs don't do a great job of "growing the man"

"Growing the man" kind of sounds like a euphemism for getting a boner.

I hate driving in Dallas. It might be worse than Los Angeles.

Who knows? People are dumb. All sides seem to be weirdos in that situation.

Oh please, the cars in question are easily doing 2x the speed limit if not more. Chances are the car in the left lane never even seen them coming.
Granted, what you talk about is a huge annoyance, but clearly has nothing to do with this case.

There isn't a porsche in this video. The two vehicles racing are a Lamborghini urus (crossover suv) and a c8 corvette.

Ok cool. Never said they got off Scot-free, just that they’re a classless team of criminals, which hey, hard to argue with the hardware 🤷‍♂️

And no, Hill was not cleared. The prosecutor just didn’t have enough evidence to convict. Are cops usually called on a DV incident reported as such by the caller at home when it’s “an accident”? No. And it wasn’t the first time the cops were called to that house for a DV incident.

No offense, but I know way more about the Tyreek Hill stuff than you or anyone else on these boards. Go look at the thread I made about him before that stuff even all went down.

He was cleared of the broken arm. Not suggesting he is innocent of the other allegations.

I lived in KC for 5 years and actually am quite familiar with the situation.
