If you read between the lines on this story, Reynolds is basically saying that Campbell is a piece of shit and the Lions organization are a bunch of dirty cheating submitches. Seems legit.
Reading between the lines, I See a WR who the Lions didn't think was worth 9 mill a year, nothing more

Holy shit i can't wait for football to start so i can stop seeing threads on here of people looking for reasons to **** with the Lions. Would think there's better things to do with the time we have.

Quit whining with the time you do have. Maybe go play golf?

Played a couple weeks ago......it's so damn hot.

Now you can go back to whining about the Detroit Lions.

Well, shit flows downhill, so it is nice to know that it is landing squarely on the Bears faces.
Link is behind paywall, but they did offer this for free:
It's no wonder the Lions couldn't afford Josh Reynolds.

Maybe their franchise would be watched more if their HC wasnt an ankle biting lunatic, their franchise would be worth more too i bet.

I know camp has not even started yet, but that rating seems way to high with two starters coming off of injury and one of those in Davenport who has been a huge NFL bust so far in his career.
I am not so sure it is Davenport that moved the needle as much as the addition of Reader and the improvement in McNeil. Davenport will just be a platooned DE2, rotating with Houston, Pascal, etc etc.

Reader provides depth but does nothing as a pass rusher which is Detroit’s biggest weakness. He’s another Billings. Houston had nothing but luck his rookie year and Davenport provides very little. Pascal has talent but has yet to show it.

It couldn’t be much clearer

He legit told his team to become cannibals.

No one cares about the lions. WE just love poking fun at the fish ****** who is actually a bears fan. The lions are still the worst organization in pro sports. That won't change, they might be good the next year or two but their coach is low IQ and their QB is mediocre. No future.

And Davenport is only making 6 mil, so who cares?
Depth.
Houston is a great situational piece on 3rd downs, don't really much care if he never is anything but that, after all, 6th round pick.

They didn’t solve your problem. Your GM should have pushed all of his chips onto the table. Instead you still lack an elite pass rush to go along with mediocre linebackers and unproven corners. Better hope you stay healthy (doubtful because the Lions were one of the healthiest teams last year).

They lost 2 of their starting DB's and one of their DE's all within the first two weeks. Pushing all you chips onto the table is something that Pace would do. The "problem" as you describe it should be solved by player development, not overspending in FA.
