They lost 2 of their starting DB's and one of their DE's all within the first two weeks. Pushing all you chips onto the table is something that Pace would do. The "problem" as you describe it should be solved by player development, not overspending in FA.

Lol.

He legit told his team to become cannibals.

No one cares about the lions. WE just love poking fun at the fish ****** who is actually a bears fan. The lions are still the worst organization in pro sports. That won't change, they might be good the next year or two but their coach is low IQ and their QB is mediocre. No future.
First of all, is he really a Bears fan? I don't know if this is true or CCS rumor so i kinda just ignored it and took it as the trolls fucking with him. Second, the Lions have built a really nice team and i kinda like Campbell and his don't give a shit type of coaching, whether he's low IQ or not. Now of course i hate the Lions the same way i hate......well actually i hate the Packers more but i hate every team in the nfc north that isn't the Bears but i give respect where it's due and what they've done deserves some respect. It's not easy to change the culture of a team that's been in the dumps most of it's existence in the NFL.

I think the other interesting aspect to think about with the Lions and if they will be able to have a successful 2024 is to keep in mind that 2024 will be the first time they have to play a 1st place schedule since 1993. I'm not even sure if they really did first place schedules back then - at least not like the formula it is now.

So, they get the Bills, Bucs, and Cowboys with that first place schedule.

In comparison, the Bears have the Patriots, Panthers, and Washington with the last place schedule.

Do you actually research anything you post, or do you just pull these things out of your ass?

15th in AGL, middle of the pack

"Better hope you stay healthy (doubtful because the Lions were one of the healthiest teams last year)."

Problem is FTN doesn’t weight their injuries dipshit. Sorry you can’t understand that they gave Detroit too much weight into losing a bum like Houston—which puts you at the top of the list without him. But good luck on offense too! One OT goes down, and the offense crumbles like a house of cards because Goff can’t handle pressure as we saw in the NFCCG.

We saw that in both games against the Bears.

Much was made out of Reynolds’s drop against the Niners but the bigger issue was a shit throw from Goff because he was under pressure. Then he threw a duck on the next 4th down play, again because he was under pressure. If only they had 7th round Houston on defense, he would have saved the game!!

Ur fav poster(anytime) found a buncha old posts of his where he was referring to the bears as "WE"

I saw it with my own eyes. The dude got bullied so hard he bailed and became a fan of the worst franchise in pro sports. Thats almost as soft as black rainbow blocking anyone who makes fun of him. He still posts on here but has half the board blocked

Goff under pressure is terrible. Its why the rams got rid of him. Regular season when he has all day to throw he's great, when he gets hit a bit and has pressure in his face every play he looks like a scared puppy. Also cant play in the cold

Same situation with michael penis against michigan.

The lions are talented but I dont see them that much more talented than the rest of the NFCN - The bears have caught up and the vikings arent that bad outside of QB. The best roster + QB might be green bay. It wont shock me if detoilet finishes 2nd or even 3rd, especially if they get a few OL injuries like you mentioned.

LOL, they played the Chiefs, Ravens, Cowboys, Bucs last year....................

And they lost to the Ravens (badly) and the Cowboys. And those were 2 of the teams that differentiated between 2nd place schedule and last place schedule. The other team in that differentiation was the Rams...and they lost to the Rams too.

Everyone in the NFC North played the AFC West and NFC South last year.

Basically, the different schedules amounts to 3 games - hence why I pointed out those 3 teams.

If the Lions continue to lose the 3 games that makes their schedule different, it stands to reason it will be harder to repeat winning the NFC North. Not saying they can't do it, just that the schedule is not getting easier for them.

I would say for the entire NFC North that the schedule is generally tougher this year.

They are playing the NFC West teams and I think that is a stronger division than then NFC South - especially with Kyler returning in Arizona and having MHJ there to throw to.

And I think the AFC South is probably about even with the AFC West as an entire division. So, no relief there - if you can even say there is relief in the NFL.

But, it's a pretty big difference to not have the chance to beat up on what was the pretty weak NFC South in 2023.

not to mention, the Lions lost Gardner-Johnson, Mosley andJackson long term, as well as Monty Laporta and Branch to short term injuries as well
