I suspect Fields returns to the Steelers but whether he starts for them is another issue. I could see the Steelers sign him and be OK with him being the #1 but continue shopping for someone like Rodgers.
Justin Fields will be signing a multi-year contract with either the Steelers or another NFL team as that team’s starting quarterback.

I predict a 3 year deal worth 45 million (15 per) with 1st 2 years guaranteed.

Saints are a good bet. Kellen Moore just did what he did with Hurts and Fields is a similar type player.

They have negative $51 million in cap space and a QB with a $50m cap hit if he's cut.

Yeah, their qbs will be Carr and rattler next year.

Also, I'm assuming fields contract will be in line with Gardner minshews because he'll likely be going to a team in a similar role. Likely starter but competing with a younger qb

I'll continue to reiterate that I think his best career choice is being a back up for a year or two under a good offensive coach, I know this statement enrages the dipshit OP

Stop following me around and begging me for attention like a pussy.

If you abandon your weak troll game, you would be able to acknowledge that I’ve made comments in which I stated that Justin Fields sitting last year and learning from Russel Wilson and Mike Tomlin was the best thing that could have happened to his career. It’s obviously worked out the way I predicted, because he’s on the cusp of signing a new multi-year contract as a starting quarterback with Pittsburgh or another NFL franchise. I’m happy for the kid.

Fields to the Raiders. Prefect fit.

@Moses Moreno
That or the Jets.

Him and Judkins + a 1st round OL in Vegas would be fun. Their running back room was bottom of the barrel last year but Meyers and Bowers are a nice foundation.

Outside of pace, I don't know much about Chip Kelly - I did read he likes to implement the zone read option and know he needs athleticism from the QB position.

I think we'll know what a team's intention for Fields is by his contract length and value. There's not a starting QB in the league on a multi year deal that isn't making $25m per and that's only one that was signed years ago the next guy is at $33.

That won't stop Justin from exceeding lowered expectations if he's not offered $30m per. I'd love to see it but don't be deceived. If the league thinks he's perennial starter material they'll bid this up over $30m.

LOL The moving of goalposts by you “We hate Justin Fields” people is hilarious.
Bears will for sure keep Fields.

Bears will get a premium pick for Fields.

Fields will be traded to a place where he will be undisputed starter.

Fields will beat out Wilson.

Wilson will not win job back from Fields.

Fields will win job back from Wilson.

The whole time I thought it was great that Fields could learn from Wilson and Tomlin.

Goalposts, lol.

It's bordering on insanity how delusional this guy is. He just called a guy a fields hater for making a completely logical point while also saying he'd love to see fields exceed expectations.

Most of us have said we like fields. The only thing that jades some people towards fields are people like this guy who appears to live in an alternate universe

He has to make shit up about people hating Fields to make it look like he's not obsessed with Fields.

And in this case he knows Fields isn't going to get undisputed starter $. He can't just say, yep, Justin's probably going to get a nice payday and maybe be in a situation where he's going to start. Good for him. Gotta project that other people hate Fields whenever they bring up something objective.

I like Justin Fields. The delusion is in the excuse making. What he gets paid doesn't tell us how good he is, that's up to him, but it does tell us what teams in need think.

I'm a Bear fan and happy with CW. I only wish Justin well as he gave 100% for this team when here.(y)

You call it moving goalposts....I call it 'merely repeating what David Haugh says verbatim'.

He also just posted that he "has been proven right" as evidenced by what he thinks will happen in the future.

Justin's biggest issues here were also Caleb's biggest issues last year and Mahomes' issues in the Super Bowl - an offensive line that's completely overwhelmed.

The rumblings out of Pittsburgh is that Justin's their top priority - if that's truly their plan they have to be comfortable with his floor and feel that he's their best opportunity to have a long-term starter. If that's so - good for Justin.

It's also that he struggles to process and doesn't throw guys open, or really attack the middle of the field at the second level.
