Kirk Cousins = Mike Glennon LiteIn retrospect, taking Penix was pretty smart… the Cousins signing to begin with was pretty crappy though.

Imagine not taking Caleb Williams last year and having to consider taking a QB this year. Just baffling

Oh I see you took my point about the lack of a quality QB in this class personally.Imagine searching for posts containing the words "Jayden Daniels" made by user "DanielCCSBears" from about a year ago.
It's lying season.
This clearly makes the most sense. Wilson is not a destination and even if they feel Fields isn't as well, he still could turn out to be one and won't limit the the roster nearly as much. Fields also looked less likely to go down last year than he did in Chicago. At Wilson's age and his bit of Pre Madonna temperament, his price and likely lack of availability would be a deterrent.
Pretty Rickey is always two steps ahead.
I truly don’t understand why Aaron Rodgers is on any team’s radar and why he’s trying to dictate that Devontae Adams has to come also.I wonder if they enter the Rodgers sweepstakes
I mean the Giants are desperate and he's desperate. Giants other vet options are like Russell Wilson or worse.I truly don’t understand why Aaron Rodgers is on any team’s radar and why he’s trying to dictate that Devontae Adams has to come also.
I understand the team’s desired plan, but Aaron Rodgers seems to move to the beat of a different drummer.I mean the Giants are desperate and he's desperate. Giants other vet options are like Russell Wilson or worse.
If they're looking to save their jobs and keep their rookie QB off of the field (assuming they trade up) it's a reasonable plan.
If you are a head coach on the hot seat, you would bring in Rodgers because he's an acceptable starting QB (for reasons unknown), then when you finish 5-12 you can blame Rodgers for being a bad QB and save your job.I truly don’t understand why Aaron Rodgers is on any team’s radar and why he’s trying to dictate that Devontae Adams has to come also.
What did Williams do last year that makes him relevant this year?Imagine not taking Caleb Williams last year and having to consider taking a QB this year. Just baffling
"There has been a lot of buzz about the prospect of the Jets going after Fields and it makes some sense," Rosenblatt wrote. "He’s young (he turns 26 on Wednesday), mobile and might have some untapped potential even if he’s been inconsistent as a thrower in the NFL. He was off to a nice start in Pittsburgh last year before they ultimately opted to bench him for Russell Wilson."
I'd bet he winds up with the Jets at this point. For a piece published Tuesday, Jets/NFL insider Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic shared why he believes Gang Green will end up with Fields later this month.

That was actually kind of funny. Reminds of when Brian Urlacher was asked if he thought Jay Cutler was an elite QB...."Well, they pay him like one."Former NFL RB/Current CCS Poster Trashes Fields
“Former NFL running back LeSean McCoy, who stars on FS1's The Facility, took to the show to express his opinions on the Steelers quarterback situation.
"Why would you be keeping Fields other than to make him a backup, or give him a clipboard, or give him a package to run the ball here or there?" McCoy said. "He can't play, can't throw. He don't win. Explain to me, from a good franchise and a good coach, why the hell would we keep him?"
While there are certain undeniable issues with his game, McCoy's comments seem to have little basis in fact to them. While Fields struggled at times, and never fully showed the arm strength that Wilson boasted, he was able to lead the team to a 4-2 record to open the season. On the other hand, Wilson's ability to be mobile has gone down significantly with age, and Fields presented an ability to do so.”
