I thought this was an AI'd version of Russ' at first.
I thought he was shouting out caleb with the clawI thought this was an AI'd version of Russ' at first.
Think that's a hell of a deal for the Cowboys. Dude's huge, with a huge arm and really athletic and helped the Pats win a game this season.Sources: Patriots trade QB Joe Milton III to Cowboys
FRISCO, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys' search for a backup quarterback to Dak Prescott has landed on Joe Milton III.
The Cowboys acquired Milton and a 2025 seventh-round pick (No. 217) from the New England Patriotsfor a 2025 fifth-round pick (No. 171), sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Talks between the clubs started a few weeks ago and escalated this week during the NFL's annual meeting at The Breakers resort in Palm Beach, Florida.
The Cowboys' need for a backup rose after Cooper Rush signed a two-year deal with the Baltimore Ravensthat guaranteed him $4.2 million. Earlier in free agency, the Cowboys targeted Jacoby Brissett, per sources, but he signed with the Arizona Cardinals. The Cowboys were also looking at Drew Lock, who spent last year with the New York Giants.
Justin's best games were usually vs. the Lions. Win or lose. This was a great interview!
This coach loves Justin Fields. For the first time in his short NFL career, it seems that Justin Fields finally has a HC and front office that’s willing to pay invest in him as a quarterback, and build an offense around him.
I now feel that I was wrong wanting Justin to stay in Pittsburgh because I thought it was his best chance at success. The posters that felt the Jets were the best spot for him, appear to be correct.
Sources: Trey Lance, Chargers reach 1-year deal worth up to $6.2M
Quarterback Trey Lance reached agreement on a one-year deal worth up to $6.2 million with the Los Angeles Chargers. sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Friday.
Lance and Taylor Heinicke are now the backups behind Chargers starter Justin Herbert.
The No. 3 overall pick in the 2021 draft by the San Francisco 49ers, Lance remains something of a mystery after four seasons in the league.
Not saying you’re wrong, but his career arc has been strange. Early injury. He’s only started in 5 games. He’s only appeared in like what…12 games? Drafted in 2021.There is no mystery. He sucks
Lol, buying into the offseason hype as usual. This was a great interview!

They played a lot of man which Fields is vg against.Justin's best games were usually vs. the Lions. Win or lose.
Maye was the 3rd overall pick and looked good last year so I get why the Pats wanted to clear Milton out of there for Maye but in his limited time on the field, Milton showed rare tools and physical traits that make him an interesting high upside backup for the Cowboys.
Ryan Clark blasts Aaron Rodgers, Steelers for free agent situation: 'It makes me sick'
Ryan Clark is fed up with the waiting game. The former Pittsburgh Steelers safety and current ESPN NFL analyst told us how he really feels during an appearance on "Get Up" on Tuesday.
"I mean, it makes me sick, to be honest," Clark said. "Unless Omar, the general manager, Omar Khan of the Pittsburgh Steelers has some sort of promise or some sort of lean on Aaron Rodgers believing that he is going to come back and play football and if he does make that decision, he's going to be a Pittsburgh Steeler."
Clark doesn't like how the situation has played out, saying it's been mishandled.
The Steelers have seemingly boxed themselves into a corner waiting for Rodgers this offseason. They've already lost Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, who both went on to sign with the New York Giants and New York Jets, respectively, this offseason.
Outside of the draft, there is no clear solution to the quarterback situation in Pittsburgh aside from the four-time NFL MVP.
"I feel like this has been mishandled already," Clark said. "I feel like to be waiting, right, or to be held hostage by a former quarter – or a former quarterback of the New York Jets has actually never done anything for you. What has Aaron Rodgers done in the last two years or since leaving Green Bay that says he should be afforded this type of time that says that you should give them a sort of respect that keeps your franchise at bay?"
The former Steeler thinks it's time to speed up the process and give Rodgers a deadline, even if he believes his former team has mismanaged this situation already.
"When I think about this decision, to me it doesn't matter what happens going forward," Clark said. "I think it's been a bad play by the Pittsburgh Steelers already. And so I would give Aaron Rodgers a deadline and when I give him that deadline, it wouldn't lead me into next week. I would need to know if you're coming back to play or not this week. And more importantly, if you're coming back to play will the Pittsburgh Steeler."
With the 2025 NFL Draft just over a week away, the Steelers currently have just Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson in their quarterback room.
If they face plant and go 6-11, wonder what they would doShould have offered Fields more, but given how he felt slighted by being benched, I doubt he would have stayed. Good luck with Mason Rudolph and begging that washed up psychopath.
Probably better road to drafting a QB next year. Problem is they can’t help but win like 9 games and be in the same spot year after year.If they face plant and go 6-11, wonder what they would do
