Steve Nash is better offensively than Lebron and Wade?

It is a conversation at the very least. Nash has tremendous offensive efficiency. I believe that his shooting efficiency has always been better than Wade's and LeBron's. And his passing efficiency is better as well.

It makes it somewhat easier to read. I highlighted each team that I consider to be the best that franchise had to offer between the years of 2000 and 2012.

For instance, the Lakers won 5 titles between those 13 seasons. The one I highlighted was the top team (ranked #1) - the 2000 Lakers

The point is, making lists is stupid.

The other point is THIS list is really stupid. The '08 Celtics "wipes the floor" with this Heat team? Really? Didn't Lebron James take that '08 team to 7 games? Damn near by himself???

And when I mentioned the '05 Heat team being better than the '05 Pistons, you look at the rosters...when the games proved it. Wade missed half of game 5, all of game 6 and played when he probably shouldn't have in game 7. And Detroit barely beat them. If Wade is healthy, the Heat win that series.

Like the 2011-2012 Bulls and 2009-2010 Cavaliers, the 2007 Mavericks are a great example of a team built to win in the regular season.

or they played badly towards the end of the season and/or got a bad matchup

and not even in the top 30? really?

LeBron had an extraordinary series. I remember the year prior when he scored 29 of the last 30 points against Detroit in Game 5. I was putting up "I AM A WITNESS" facebook statuses.

It is possible that the '05 Heat would have beaten the '05 Pistons but that Heat team was definitely flawed. They did not have a true PG. That should be accounted for. I was rooting hard for the Heat that season and had picked them to win the title in 2005 and 2006.

PS- The Heat won Game 5. Game 6 was on the road and it was a blow-out. They could have won that Wade had Wade played but who knows. Game 7, Wade was hurt but they lost that game in the 4th quarter with turnovers.

I thought about putting them in the top 30. But I honestly think the 2009 Magic were a better team than they were.

because they got into the finals through a shitty east?

Nothing is that simple. Orlando had better rebounding and defense and the best PG at that point. Dallas had Dirk but the Magic also had better shooters as a whole and a better secondary play-maker (Hedo) than what Dallas had.

i'll give you rebounding..but defense is pretty equal....orlando had a better FG defense but dallas had a better PPG defense..

stackhouse, terry, dirk, and harris are all very good 3 point shooters along with anthony johnson and a few others

who's going to guard dirk? lewis? that would be a terrible matchup...

orlando's defensive advantage is mitigated a bit by the fact that howard, who is the primary reason they had a good defense, will be facing dampier and an offense that relies on shooting

josh howard and jason terry aren't as good or better play makers than hedo? really?

nelson's not a great PG..he's a good shooter but never really was a PG imo

i brought up that the magic went to the finals in a crappy east because, looking at your list, i assumed it was a large part of your reasoning because great teams that had bad match ups or flamed out in the postseason were heavily penalized
