Carmelo Anthony - Dude is a black hole and doesn't know how to win in the NBA. Knicks have a losing record since they got him and Denver has one of the best records in the NBA since they got rid of him.

Chris Fall, I mean Paul - He had some great seasons 3-4 years ago, but those days are long gone. Now, he's just a flopper who whines after every small bit of contact. It's gotten so bad that it's rubbed off on the whole Clippers team. Instead of being Lob City, they are now known as Flop City. There's even a song about it on YouTube.

Just so you don't think I'm lying.

Carlos Boozer - This guy can show up against weak teams, but when the game is tough he disappears.

Norris Cole - For reasons Rami pointed out.

Glad you said it...especially after he did the whole "shut Rose down when he guards him" again...
Yeah because lebron was guarding him on the FT line, right?

lebron didn't "shut down" Rose, so much as he just made bad decisions down the stretch. And if it wasn't for Rose, the Bulls wouldn't even have had a chance to even win that game. Had Rose made those two FT"s or the shot at the end, would you be saying that lebron "shut down" Rose today?

Admit it, you were rooting for lebron and the Heat in this game, weren't you?

If you watched the game, you would have seen that when Rose was guarded by Lebron, he couldn't score. Go back and watch the game. So yes, I would still say that when Lebron guarded Rose, Rose had a very difficult time scoring.

As for your last statement? Just because I don't have a man crush on Rose or anybody else wearing a Bulls uniform doesn't mean I don't root for the Bulls.

What you should try to do is go back and look at the statements I made post game on this forum...and quit talking out of your ass...thanks.

He had a difficult time scoring, but he didn't "Shut him down", he gave him problems true. But he had an opportunity to win or tie the game twice and just missed the shots, one being wide open I might add.

Rose shut himself down on those last plays and came up small. No doubting that. But let's not act like lebron won that game for Miami. He missed a bunch of shots in the fourth also and Wade might as well had not even played.

This Bulls team is just as good as Miami and can beat them. That's not being a homer, that's going on what I saw from this game. Given that the Bulls were extremely short handed and Rose had to play 44 minutes with no real backup to give him a rest, they shouldn't have even been IN the game in the first place.

We got 3 more to go, so hopefully two of those game will feature both teams at full strength so we can see how well they match up.

Again, all of this depends upon our own view of people talking about various players. There's no denying that all of these players have tremendous ability but some people overvalue what they do.
If your "overratedness" scale revolves around meatheaded/idiot fans of the team...then this thread is pretty pointless.

I would think a more constructive discussion would be who some level headed NBA analysts etc view as good/great you don't think are.

LOL at Kevin Love being on your list though.

Dude is having a season so far that i think only Larry Bird has ever pulled off.

Who has him in their top 10 of current NBA players?

LOL at whoever mentioned Lebron as being overrated.

Some guys that come to mind for me:

Rondo
Noah
Deng
Amare to a certain extent
Pau

We only lost by 4 with out Luol... how are we not on "there level"? Because they have LeBron James? We have a better record than them right now so I don't get that response.

Brandon Jennings

he isnt overrated most people know he is a high volume shooter who isnt very good at shooting. Most people dont want him on their team people I talk too. He is actually having a decent year this year though.

People who say LBJ is overrated is on crack a 55% shooter who now has everything he can now post up and get easy baskets which in the past he cant do. LBJ is the best player in the NBA I don't know how you can consider that overrated.

overrated is in the eye of the beholder just cause the media says a player is good doesnt mean he is good. I guess it is how you define overrated most players I have watched enough that I dont listen to the experts or media's opinion. I watch a lot of games of every team so IMO I have a good idea on a players value.

Calling Rubio overrated is ridiculous also

Also Rondo isnt overrated without Rondo the Cs are toast with him they can still be somewhat competitive and he has the best contract in the league IMO.

Saying the Bulls lost by 4 and leaving it at that kind of misses the point. The Heat controlled that game from the tip. Watching the game it really seemed the Bulls couldn;t get closer than 4-7 points for the longest time..and all of a sudden Rose was standing at the line with a chance to win.

This wasn't a seesaw back and forth game. On top of that, we were missing Luol..but Wade played pretty badly and all three of theor Big 3 weren't playing big playoff minutes like you will see in May.

LOL at having a better record mattering. How'd that work out last season?

Anytime I look at a Miami box score, one of the Big 3 have a bad game. Now, I dont look at every game, but its definitely more common than not.

That's a great point. What I notice is every Miami bandwagon fan always try their hardest to "prove" why Chicago isn't as good. Listen, a healthy Bulls team scares the HELL out of Miami, that is why they give the excuses. I don't have excuses, we lost. We played terrible, had a few players out, yada yada yada. I will always take a healthy Bulls team over a choking Heat team. Bring on June! :sweep:

If you do indeed rewatch the 4th quarter. Rose's ties the game at 84 with a driving layup. LeBron James and Wade had just re-entered the game shortly before that. When Rose ties it at 84, LeBron isn't guarding Rose. From then on out, LeBron guarded Rose and Rose didnt score until making it 94-93 Heat on a fast break point where again LeBron was not guarding him. On the possession to attempt to tie the game, Boozer set a pick that Rose got through and LeBron lost him. LeBron did get a contested hand up, but the shot itself was short by Rose.

So with LeBron guarding Rose for the last 6 minutes of the game. Rose did not score a point.

That said, the Bulls can play with the Heat. The Bulls problem is they can't finish against the Heat. Even if they win the regular season games, it doesnt matter. They have to prove it in the playoffs. We saw the Bulls close against the Heat in the regular season last year, and then couldn't do jack in 4th quarters of the playoffs last year. The playoffs truly are a different head.

They did blow them out by 20+ and that is the only blowout win by either team as they are currently constituted. So I think a healthy team, handles Miami better than they are currently given credit for.

A Healthy Bulls team wins a 7 game series against Miami in 5-6 games. I will give Miami 1-2 games out of respect.

Not sure if he's been mentioned yet, but I'm going to step outside the box a little and say Amare. He gets a lot of hype for his size, but he hasn't lived up to it IMO. For all the publicity he got when he arrived in NYC, he hasn't put up the numbers many expected him to. He should be a guy that rivals Howard on the offensive end of the court, but often times it seems that he disappears in the Knicks' offense. His defense also leaves a lot to be desired. I would expect him to be a much better shot blocker and defender, but he plays pretty soft on D. He's still a great player, don't get me wrong, but he's not the elite player that many view him as IMO.

last season he was on pace for a MVP season before the Melo trade. But right now he looks injured he doesn't have his quickness that he had before the injury he suffered last year.

But he and Melo are a terrible fit. He needs a pg to feed him the ball the Knicks basically have Melo playing pg(because their pgs are awful) and Melo doesn't get others involved.
