My favorite teams
like a boss!!
2 threads off-topic now, lol.
Go fap to your favorite pitching coach and that little boy he teaches... leave me the **** alone.
Alright.. I'll go :fap: to Dave Duncan..
A lot better than :fap:ing to Rothschild.
What time's the party? Who's paying the chicks?
Henry.
Thats obvious. He's got that Pepsi contract.
k, how many is da kid getting?
awesome.
The cheddar?
Way to go, Runamucker!
Not having some form of an organization building plan is more of an economic gamble over spending on one of two players in a more than likely underachieving season.
I'd much rather them put a few extra million in player development and scouting.
1. No its not; 2. The two arent mutually exclusive.
Yes it is...
Not really. The fan base is kind of important. Thats what was being discussed before this nothing observation was made. Wanting to be like the Marlins doesnt supercede maintaining a fanbase. This rebuttal is one of the more moronic thoughts Ive seen on this message board. Ha! Yeah, putting academies in India is way more important than the issue of pushing your fanbase too far.
Guess again.
It doesn't matter what the fans want, its about winning a Championship... which you won't do by just trying to satisfy the fans...
Sure it matters what the fans want. And, again, you talk like paying for talent is mutually exclusive of trying to win.
You and the other pinky-fighter both have this obsession with being more like small market teams. Its kind of amusing.
Fine. Theres no reason the Cubs cant sign a free agent and invest in scouting. But as it is now, the entire economics of baseball is setup in a way for the big market teams to spend money. Its set up for small market teams to be feeder systems for the big market teams. And if the big market teams stop being big market teams, it risks shrinking the overall (for the entire sport) pie.
