Love how this fanbase went from overrating Moore on arrive ->laughing at the thought of him honestly wanting to keep playing with Fields -> laugh even harder when he signed his new contract -> completely turning on him because they need excuses for the perfect, generational QB they spent months hyping up who is a bottom 5 QB in the NFL.

This fanbase cant be hated enough. rtards

Has DJ Moore been nothing short of a beast here up until the ill-fated buy week break?
The guy sees the same things we've all seen the last three weeks and it has to have a demoralizing effect considering the elite-level offense on display before the ill-fated break.
The three consecutive wins before the break saw CW shreading defenses when he had a bit of time and making Mahomes-like plays on the run when he had none . What'd the coaching staff do with two weeks to rest/recover/heal and practice.......coach that out of him?

DJ Moore realizes his rookie QB is under constant SEIGE and he's also starting to realize the team he re-signed with has done next to nothing about it.

Doing nothing to fortify an O-line that reinforced its ineptitude in the games leading up to this year's TDL could have real disastrous effects with the team's upcoming schedule . It could also continue to damage CW's development and health!

We've all quit on the Bears. I prefer when I get to quit on them in like week 14/15. These days, it's either a preseason quit, or just a few games into the season. Watching the Packers pound the Bears will make me feel nothing this weekend. I'm sure I'll turn off the game and do something else probably by halftime or maybe the 3rd quarter.

He’s got Allen Robinson syndrome but all the more disappointing but maybe less surprising once he got guaranteed money. That said, why were we seeing him more on end-arounds and not throws recently, despite his defense of Waldron?
Good point. He hadn’t been used effectively at all. A lot of people haven’t. He still shouldn’t quit and loaf out there. I hope he turns it around.

Caleb Williams is playing bad, coaching sucks, the o-line is bad, and Moore is not playing hard and running lazy routes. All things can be true.

In Moore’s defense, he was visibly limping, so he probably did tweak his ankle.

I mean, he was out there immediately for the next play. DJ is aware that cameras has been on him this season for his body language, so I think it's very plausible he did a little limp for the cameras so that he had an "injury excuse" in his back pocket. He looked fine running the route, and immediately limps the second he goes out of bounds, and then looks completely fine on the next play? I agree with McKinney... "I call cap" on the injury.

I'd give DJ the benefit of doubt if not for him half assing it most of the season.

I'm calling CAP on Mckinney! Does he really watch football? Does he not remember Antonio Brown going full Special person and quiting on his team mid game? Or how about that one DB who just retired at halftime?
Did they leave their team 10 on 11 by walking off midplay?

Yes I’m sure the consummate professional magically became lazy and stopped playing hard when the qb all of a sudden forgot how to throw a football.

Gotta agree with him. Loved getting him and this year he’s completely different like he’s just going through the motions. Is it the QB, the coach or him?

It's the extreme circumstances of the man's career IMO.

This is Moore's 7th season in the league. In that time he has played under four different coordinators with Waldron's replacement now counting as number five. He has also played with 13 or 14 different quarterbacks in his relatively brief career.

That is a lot slate cleaning for a receiver that should be playing the best football of his career, but instead is starting all over from scratch yet again. It's got to be painfully frustrating and the biggest reason he was defending keeping Justin Fields.

Then why did he sign the contract? He would have known early in training camp if he wanted to stay with this team or move on. I don’t think he is the Nate Davis version of WR.

I think he was/is just disgusted with the whole offensive concepts and the fact that maybe Allen was being featured more than him. That doesn’t make him a diva, he is a legit #1 WR and should be used like that. Bringing Allen in seems to be another poles mistake. Should have gone after an oline man, use Rome as the 2 and who ever else as the 3.

He seemed legitimately surprised about the Waldron firing in an interview he gave, so something weird is going there.

Will be interesting to see how he responds now going forward with a new OC voice and this comment from an opposing team player.

Are you claiming that Moore hasn't been running poor routes and just playing flat in many games this year? Because if you are, then you're wrong. The tape proves it, and there's a reason why so many people are being critical of his effort. It didn't get pulled out of thin air. No one is saying this about other guys on the team, so why Moore?

But if you're claiming that the reason why Moore isn't playing as hard is because Caleb has been bad, then you're no different than those you are criticizing. If people are saying Moore has been bad in an effort to make excuses for/defend Caleb (as you claim), then you're essentially doing the same thing by saying making excuses for/defending Moore's effort by blaming it on Caleb's performance.

Regardless of how Caleb is performing, Moore needs to do better. It's as simple as that. And when we have multiple Bear players saying that the team needs to put in more effort, and that coaches were letting things slide in OTAs, practice, etc.... and then you watch the Bears play and see who is and isn't putting in max effort, it's easy to see where the problems lie

I'm saying it about Keenan Allen. What a shit trade and signing. Rome needs to bump grandpa Allen to the bench so he can contemplate his HOF acceptance speech there rather than mid-jog er mid-route.

Did you see that 2nd TD from Maye last week?
That's right it was a penalty and loss of a down because the WR stepped out and was the first to touch the ball.

If the WR goes out then he needs to remove himself as an option for the QB to avoid the penalty.
