Fluke? That was a tremendous catch. To keep your concentration on the ball with all of the going on was a fluke? Flukes occur out of natural order. That wasn't out of natural order. That guy followed the ball throughout with his eyes. He kept the ball alive deliberately with his legs, arms, and hands. He tipped the ball to keep it off of the ground. That wasn't a "fluke". To call that a fluke would be the same as calling Lynn Swann's catch in the Steeler Super Bowl a fluke.

well "ijustposthere" HATES Russ Wilson. Per ijustposthere , 'the catch should never have been made'.

But yes, it was a tremendous effort and astounding concentration .......however, a HATER will never appreciate it.

YOu do not put a no back set on the 1/2 yard line! Someone call Vince Lombardi !!!!!!!

I remember the footage about the ICE BOWL https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=1WXCKG55tlM#t=0

Bart Starr thought he could sneak it in for the score. Lombardi was like....Lets do it and the hell outta' here.

And that's what smart coaches do at the 1 yard line....none of this b.s. hokey, okey, dokey lets go with a no-back, shotgun pass play and lose the damn SB, crap :smh:

Not sure what all of the arguing is about, it was a great SB between two good teams. I can only hope the Bears can get to that point again. These are two very different teams.

Why debate Wilson? Why debate Brady? Why debate Lynch? Wilson is a good QB that has a team centered around a great defense and great run game. Wilson is not the feature of that team, but he plays in that system very well. I think Wilson has potential and a high ceiling. What a perfect situation for him being on a team with a solid defense and great run game. Can Wilson be considered elite right now? Of course not but who cares, he is great for that team.

Tom Brady, though I cannot stand the guy or the Patriots, is in the conversation for one of the best QBs ever. Do you know the Patriots only had ONE first round draft pick starting on the SB offense? Who make that offense so good? Tom Brady and Josh McDaniels. I'm no Brady fan and I hate that little punk McDaniels, but give credit where credit is due.

Hmmm. Did belichick know the play. Did he steal the offensive signs from Seattle. You'll never know. Great game. It would have been great call if he caught and thrown everyone off or that interception to win the game. Loved it.

There are literally not enough facepalms on the interwebz for all the stupid shit you post. Anyone that thinks that a ball bouncing off a falling guys foot into his hands isn't a fluke and is only pure concentration, is a fucking moron.

I believe that image is photoshopped. I saw the exact same picture, but it definitely wasn't that.

I just stumbled across that and felt the need to share my distress.
