I feel your pain man. Verizon is expensive but I like having coverage everywhere I go.

I have Verizon too, and no complaints at all. I also have Verizon Fios at home, and it's fantastic as well.

I know....I was thinking the same thing. 22....single....no kids.....game on!!! Bears fans, go!

But no....I live in Colorado and I met a promising woman closer to my age just a couple weeks ago, so I cannot flatter Mrs. Grossman or play games. I have a one track mind about these things.
Lol I was asking about your coverage!

I have Tmobile in the area. It's good when it works. Lots of dead spots. But you can't beat that price right now, so I'm dealing with it. I had Ting before, loved them. The price was close with Ting as well, but I wind up saving $260 a year on Tmobile. Plus, I have a few numbers, and using a sim cards lets me use a multi-sim phone. One less thing to keep track of.

Seems to me the big 3 are simply monopolizing satellite and tower usage to prevent competition.

Is this accurate?.

It really does boil down to location. Someone who lives in Davis, IL. might have USCC because they're the only ones who work there. The larger carriers focus on bigger cities and put more resources into those areas to attract and appease more subscribers. They aren't as concerned about small towns because the potential subscriber base is so small. Why invest 500k in a network and advertising in a small town to gain 100-500 subscribers? That's why people living in Paw Paw would choose IVC. They actually work there. That being said...if you don't live in North Hickville, your options shouldn't be as limited.

FWIW, a bunch of young people I know also have TMobile and hate it. The masses aren't always correct. They do have the cheapest plans though if I remember right. That's probably already been discussed.

As mentioned several times, Virgin and similar outfits are even cheaper.

Didn't read the whole thread, but at least among AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile, T-Mobile has the cheapest. I think someone mentioned "the big three" or something...guess that's what that was in reference to. Virgin is probably a much better option than T-Mobile since they use Verizon's service or something like that, which again, has probably already been mentioned numerous times. Carry on.
