I stated that to show that just because the masses agree on something, doeesnt make it right. You sound like a liberal. How many social issues in our sociiety have been changed due to the plight of a few?

I agree with your premise that just because its 15-1 doesn't necessarily mean that the 15 are right.

The thing is, you keep associating trying=good owner. Owners HAVE TO TRY to field a good team that makes them a profit, wins games, etc.

Reinsdorf can do that without spending as much, and not spending recklessly like Dolan allowed. I think it was a good move for Dolan to pass on matching Lin.

I think clonetrooper said it best. You want your owner to spend. Im not saying the decidions madee by Thomas were great. But thats not dolans fault. Thats the GMs fault. I dont neccesarily blame pax/gar for it taking so long to build a contender if Reinsdorf tied their hands with budget restrictions.

Remember, Dolan wasnt the only owner I pointed out. Buss, Cuban, Prokerrov, Allen, the Celtics owner, all seem willing to do whatever iit takes to win. Does that mean they wiill win? No but its better than having no shot. I dont Know what the outcome of some of the young teams the Bulls have had might have been. They may not have won anything. But the owner eliminated any chance of finding out.

Unfortunately, the way the NBA is set up, you have to have a big payroll to compete. Are there exceptions to this theory? Yes. But that is the rule.

My main gripe against Reinsdorf is I feel giving Bulls fans a championship is not a big concern. Because the of the patern hes accumulated.

The comments.

The low payrolls

And breaking up the Bulls dynasty. Or allowing it to happen. Just think about all the players the Bulls had commiing off the Books in 99. Krause couldve brought in another key player, and upped Kukocs role along with the key player. And took some of the pressure off Jordaan and Pippen. And probably win one more.

As a superstar that can basically choose where you want to go, why woould you choose to play for Reinsdorf? I firmly believ the Bulls are blacklisted by the superstars of the NBA.

The same goes for Krause. This man has built two championship teams. And accumulated some pretty good talent after 98. Why can he not get another GM gig?
