They said on the broadcast last night that Olt and Lake were going to play today no matter what. It was in the plans. Now, they did say if they keep hitting that its going to force Renteria hand and make him play them everyday.
Force his hand? What was he going to do...lefty/righty matchups all year? Next thing you know he'll have an inkling to bat the pitcher 8th in the lineup. :D

I still think the lefty/righty thing comes from Theo and Hoyer. He is managing just like Sveum and I find it odd that 2 coaches would set lineups the exact same way.

Maybe that is why they keep hiring managers with no history so they will do as they are told.

Agreed. I think that is very possible.

Yeah, I'm pretty satisfied with that lineup... hope they can plate another 6+ runs...

Olt and Castro saved Wood with their glove that inning. Stopped runs from scoring.

Thats what speed does for a lineup. Its something Barney could never bring to this team
