That may be difficult.
Eh he didn't deserve the no-hitter. He was pissed about not getting that 2-2 call with 2 outs in the eighth, but it was the right call.
how can you say he didnt deserve it? he pitched great the whole game.
CHICAGO – The Chicago Cubs will re-evaluate second baseman Darwin Barney after he was hit in the helmet by a pitch in the eighth inning Tuesday.
With a no-hit bid still intact, Pittsburgh Pirates starter A.J. Burnett fired a pitch that appeared to strike Barney over his left ear. The ball rebounded toward the Pirates’ on-deck circle.
Barney wanted to take first base but he was removed by the training staff and replaced on the bases by Jeff Baker.
“I think he’s OK,” Sveum said. “He said he was fine but he didn’t seem like it.”
The pitch to the helmet came one day after Barney set a career high with four RBIs. After crushing a three-run home run in the fourth inning, Barney appeared to shout something at the Pirates bench, but he claimed he was just releasing emotions after making up for a defensive miscue earlier in the game that allowed a Pirates run to score.
