I agree, the Lakers were 2-2 in the Thunder series and Kobe had stunk up until that point. I didn't think he still had this sort of play in him. He has been great, playing probably the best he ever has. If all players could go on a run like that after I trash them then I better start saying Noah and Rose stink.

However you must have a short memory if you don't think Wade can do that kind of thing. I think Dallas fans can tell you how good Wade can be at taking a team apart.

I think Wade is great, but very few in history can score 30 in 10 of 11 playoff games. That is different from having a few hot games. But glad to see you on my side Shakes, now YOU talk to Stig...lol...just kidding...

To me Kobe is the second best player of all-time. If he gets title #5 that only adds to it.

Kobe has stepped it up as of late but we all knew Kobe was a pure scorer. This didn't come out last week out of nowhere. I didn't get a chance to catch the game but I am still just not a fan of him or his game.

No, he is not. Not yet.

Lebron has the better body but Kobe is by far the more complete player.

I agree that he is better than Kobe at the same age but the current Kobe is ahead of the current Lebron.

Understood...I am not a bit Isiah fan, but I recognize his greatness. I didn't care much for Iverson's game after awhile but I acknowledge how great he is as a player. Liking him or his game and recognizing a player's contributions and achievements can be mutually exclusive. Not hard to do at all...

I think that Bron guy is much closer.

Lebron is Lebron, He has Magic Johnson's game, Jordan's athleticsm, and Karl Malone's body, plus he is faster up and down the court than any of them that I remember...he has everything it takes to be the best ever bar none.

Kobe has a more complete offensive repertoire. Inside, outside, better post game...all around greatness and like Jordan, he is an assassin. Lebron doesn't have that yet, or it hasn't been defined consistently.

Last night was proof of him taking over a game in the last minutes, nobody in basketball does it as well when the pressure is on...

Kobe is certainly great, a first ballet HOF player but I don't rank him at #2 like you guys.

Kobe is a scorer. He finds ways to score but I doubt you find anyone with a better inside game than Bron. Bron is the best finisher in the league by far and already is an assassin. Bron took a crap cavs team by the defending champion celtics by scoring 29 points in the 4th in a game 7. It really doens't get much better than that. Add to that that Bron was better in the clutch this year than Kobe and I think you can call him an assassin.

Did I understand you right? Lebron is more clutch than Kobe?

Kobe had 6 game winning shots this season. Lebron had how many? 1?

I don´t care how many points a player makes in the 4th. When you don´t win, you´re not clutch. Easy as that.

Kobe has a better post up game than Lebron, Lebron's game in the post still has to develop, he doesn't concentrate on that area because he doesn't need to. I don't think we can label Lebron an assassin after the recent playoff run...Kobe has much more of a history of coming through in the clutch than Lebron does. I again, if Phil says your clutch game is even with Jordan's, that is enough to win me over...

I agree, Kobe is better from outside and in the post. I only refuted inside.

Kobe is great in the clutch but so is Bron. He doesn't do it as much during the regular season but he comes through in the playoffs. Ask Boston in game 7, look at the buzzer beater to beat Orlando. Bron does so much with so little help. Kobe too has struggled in the playoffs and has by the most part had a lot more talent around him. Kobe never made the finals without another star.

Yeah but I think it´s a lot easier to make the Finals by your own in the Eastern Conference than in the Western Conference. Just ask Allen Iverson or Dwayne Wade.

I think now's not a good time to say Kobe is just a pure scorer when he's averaged 7 rebounds and 8 assists in the Suns series. To me that's what was impressive about his play, in the past sometimes he hits some tough shots but you could always get him to keep taking them until he started missing, against the Suns they played him pretty much perfectly but he picked his shots and passed the ball when he didn't think he could make it.

I really feel bad for the Suns, finally get past the Spurs and run into the Lakers playing well. I thought they could get hot 4 nights and steal the series but I should never have relied on Amare rebounding the ball. Amare had 21 defensive rebounds for the entire series. Channing Frye had 24 in the last three games.

if robin lopez progresses, they might still be a decent team. i dont think they're going to pay amare a max contract, and some1 else will.

I think the Suns still have a chance, Dragic becoming a good player has solved their big weakness in that you can no longer just win the game while Nash rests. If Lopez can continue to develop and they get something for Amare (like I said earlier, I think Amare for Lee is something they should chase) then they can come back next year still a contender.

i'd take lee. he's a better rebounder and passer. he works well in the d'antoni system. do the suns have enough under the cap to sign him outright? i dont think they can do a sign and trade unless both agents agree to go to the other teams.

Hmm, the Suns have some cap space if Amare is gone, but probably not enough to sign Lee outright. A S&T seems a more likely option.

It'd have to be something that both guys agree on obviously. I don't know, it seems like Amare would go to the Knicks if they pay him the max, and Lee surely must be sick of losing and want to go to a winning team.

amare might head to miami, but the knicks might be able to work out a 3 team trade. i'm sure they're dying a draft pick, and i'd sign with the suns for earl clark and this years draft pick for lee. it's not like anyone has seen him anyways. it's not like the suns need the pick for the bench.

Stig knows better than that. All of a sudden Kobe is George Gervin? C'mon man! Besides those stats in assists and rebounds he is an all-league defender...he has no weaknesses at all in his game...none.
