yeah.... no. basketball fail

What good is Korver going to be playing extremely limited minutes in the playoffs behind Luol Deng? At least Parker is a true shooting guard who can defend 3 positions... Korver can defend... well... 2 positions pretty ineffectively.

You don't trade Korver for Anthony Parker...that defeats the purpose. Korver is one of the best shooters in the league, he is in the top 1%. Parker is an average player who doesn't do any one thing exceptionally well. Plus Parker is as old as me??? I didn't know that...you don't trade Korver who you have locked in to a nice contract for a 35 year old player...hell no.

Kyle Korver might be as good as any shooter in the league, but Anthony Parker is not far behind him and a far better defender. 35 years-old or not... it's not like we are talking about having an old guy be the best player on the team. Look at Shaq. Look at Kurt Thomas. And look at Grant Hill (best example). These are very effective guys in a role. I'll definitely deal Korver and his $15M contract away for a better player in Parker.

You watch a totally different league from most other people. Parker is somebody they are looking at so that they don't have to trade any decent or good players. The rumor is 2nd round draft pick, and you are talkng about Korver??? give me a break man, that is just basketball retardation at its finest...

And he is not a better player...he went 10 years without even playing in the league! good grief...

I'm not saying CHI should give up Korver when they don't need to in order to obtain Parker. All I'm saying is that Parker would be worth giving up Korver for. Parker is flat-out better than Korver and would serve a better purpose on the Bulls.

Is Korver going to play big minutes in the playoffs anyway? I certainly hope not or the Bulls may not make the 2nd round if they play ORL or ATL.

Rami, what are you smoking? Anthony Parker hasn't been good since he lived in Naperville playing with me and my cousin who started at center for Naperville Central.

His sister Candace is better than him.

I don't know how you interpret "good" but he was still a good player last year, and I can thank David Stern for putting the Cavs on national television about 35 times to let me know that. He's a better player than Korver... why is this such a strange thing to everybody?

You guys can be cynical all you want, but Ben Gordon was never an MVP candidate and Kyle Korver isn't going to be on any NBA all-defensive teams.

Unless you're suggesting Parker is an mvp candidate or defensive player of the year, what are you talking about? Also nobodies being cynical. we're being realistic.

If he's a better player than Korver why did Korver command a contract twice as big when he was a free agent? Seems that NBA GMs are all "strange" too.

Apparently so. It's not like players don't get overpaid, you know...

If barron davis wasn't a jackass, parker would have helped contribute to the worst record in the history of sports. think about that, he would have contributed to the WORST record in sports.

OK, so if Korver got overpaid why didn't Parker get overpaid? Surely if it's so obvious that he's the better player as you claim he could have found someone offering the MLE.

Rami's got a hard on for Anthony Parker and seems to hate Korver. Odd and random as hell.

Anthony Parker is a shooter man. His career three-point percentage is 3% higher than Korver's. And this season he is only shooting 2% less than Korver from there.

I don't hate Korver but I have doubts as to how helpful he is going to be in the playoffs. I'm just not as high on him as I am on Parker because at least Parker can bring in some one-on-one defense into the equation and play some big minutes at the SG position. Korver can't do either of those things...
