Playoff seeding looking better for Bulls

What good is Korver going to be playing extremely limited minutes in the playoffs behind Luol Deng? At least Parker is a true shooting guard who can defend 3 positions... Korver can defend... well... 2 positions pretty ineffectively.

You don't trade Korver for Anthony Parker...that defeats the purpose. Korver is one of the best shooters in the league, he is in the top 1%. Parker is an average player who doesn't do any one thing exceptionally well. Plus Parker is as old as me??? as a 35 year old parker can gaurd like all five posirtions in the nba. he can even guard the coach.

Kyle Korver might be as good as any shooter in the league, but Anthony Parker is not far behind him and a far better defender. 35 years-old or not... it's not like we are talking about having an old guy be the best player on the team. Look at Shaq. Look at Kurt Thomas. And look at Grant Hill (best example). These are very effective guys in a role. I'll definitely deal Korver and his $15M contract away for a better player in Parker.

Anthony Parker is a shooter man. His career three-point percentage is 3% higher than Korver's. And this season he is only shooting 2% less than Korver from there.

I don't hate Korver but I have doubts as to how helpful he is going to be in the playoffs. I'm just not as high on him as I am on Parker because at least Parker can bring in some one-on-one defense into the equation and play some big minutes at the SG position. Korver can't do either of those things...
