Parker is about as good of a defender as Ronnie Brewer

parker might be able to give positional defense. He's not going to be the same kind of disruptive defender that ronnie brewer is.

Also keep this in the back of your head. The bulls already can beat a lot of the lower teams in the league with their current lineup/playing brewer more. If we're making a change it's either, Right for now, to beat a team as good as us or a team better than us or it's for the future, to be better later on.

For the teams better than us, i don't know if parker's giving you much on kobe and wade in terms of defense. Also i really don't know if he's going to give you too much on offense. He can shoot, but kobe and wade aren't teribble defenders. I can't remember how well he played against ray allen, so feel free to fill us in. I really don't know how well parker is going against an athletic j-rich. In terms of teams as good as us, i don't feel comfortable with parker against joe johnson in the post. I think JJ might be 240lbs... JJ hasn't played well in the playoffs, so i'm not too worried. Just before you say parker is as good of a defender brewer, you might want to rethink your position. He doesn't have the athleticism to provide the kind of defense we need.

I'm not saying don't this. A 2nd rounder has such little worth in the nba, that i'd be down for trading it for a bag of chips(I'd trade 2 2nd rounders for the veggie chips from whole foods.).
