Yeah because they had a regime change and they're good so it's not that big of a deal.

This ****** couldn't wait to strip every single good young piece from the roster and was terrible at refilling the cabinets. **** him.

New GM will probably do the same. Many do.

You just hope the replacements are better.

Funny thing is he really exposed himself even more by convincing them to can the Fluberbus in season.

Guy is still around and it's all his fault

Guy is gone and it's plain as day that he sucks too

That said.....they'll keep this ass clown around....this time the rumors will be that the new hc was Warren's hire while last time it was the search committee and ownership
It makes no sense. Poles sucks at everything except the Carolina trade and people still figure out a way to blame ownership. The reason why Poles looks all pissy at games is because he knows he created this mess.

Ima hold off on austin booker, he was always a project so I didnt expect much from him this year. The strong preseason against scrubs set unrealistic expectations.

I also still dont mind a 4th for keenan allen, he's clearly a disappointment but caleb and the coaches have mentioned multiple times he's essentially a player coach. Not sure where caleb would be right now without him since DJ is sulking in a corner and rome is also a rookie.

I guess on the flip side you can make a case none of his 1st and 2nd round picks are less than solid starters. The bust rate for those are still at like 50% and so far Caleb,Rome,Wright,Dexter,Gordon,Brisker and yes, even stevenson, look like they can be starters in this league.

Some CCS posters need to read that

and even lauding Poles Panthers trade is silly.
he gutted the team and just snuck into the #1 slot with the aid of Lovies last second heroics.
he also could not have had any idea that the Panthers would be that bad.
They were 7-10 in 2022 with the 19th best scoring defense and 20th best scoring offense.
They also had the entire FA and draft to improve off of that.
he then had the leverage with that first pick with two highly ranked QBs which QB desperate teams wanted.
The Panthers were foolish and made a stupid trade. No fleecing going on there as CCS likes to say.

In addition, he acquired Me J and Sweat only because they sucked so bad.
Me J in the trade and Montez because they were going to have the highest 2nd round pick.
No Poles brilliance there.
He then extended the 2 red chippers with huge blue chip type contracts which they are not living up to this year.

Is there a single player who is actually living up to anything, besides gervon dexter?

Every player on this team has gotten worse, thats a coaching issue, which yes you can blame poles for.

I just dont believe this team is in as dire of a state roster wise as people believe. Coaching makes a drastic difference and sets a culture, right now this team is void of any identity with 8 fucking captains(dumbest shit ever) and zero leaders.

Well, there is the Claypool trade that sent our best 2nd round pick for no return. Other than that Poles has been better than his predecessors in first and second round picks. However, if you're only getting 2 mid level starters each draft it's going to be a long rebuild to get average results.

Other than McClellan, Emery was also solid picking in the first 2 rounds

Dexter isn't really living up to anything. He's average.

Gordon is really good, he's the only Poles pick I can think of who has really outperformed his draft position.

The team has ok talent, it's build incorrectly, very little depth, and no real superstar players (I'd argue that Jaylon is just below that and Moore should be but isn't this year).

He truly is awful and It’s honestly embarrassing how much bears fans pumped him up after every single move the past 3 years. Haven’t seen one of those “King Poles does it again” gifs on Twitter in months.

If this regime has taught me anything it’s that you should never assume the Bears can’t do worse because they always manage to. How you downgrade from Ryan fucking Pace is insane.
Guy says he was gonna build through the draft and trades picks for pending FA’s and guys not worth a damn, then he goes and does little to nothing in FA like he’s being rewarded for not spending the money.

He blows late round picks on guys like bates who seems like a huge miss evaluation.

He has drafted 3 3rd round picks and I’m willing to give tamagotchi time but velus and Scott are looking like they aren’t even NFL quality players.

Yikes

Jaylon is a pace holdover and still remains likely the best player on the team.

DJ Moore was through trade, should be hard to miss on a player that’s been in the league.

He has only brought in 2 players so far in Gordon and Billings that seem to be performing better than expectations.

Dexter has basically the same amount of pressures and a half sack more than carter. He's now also the main guy double teamed on this team. All while playing 180 less snaps than carter.

Thats average to you? He's already one of the better DT pass rushers in the NFL. He needs to work on his run stopping, but that can also be fixed by adding another DT next to him besides billings.

You guys are also stupid as most of these guys are 2-3 years into the league. They are not even close to their talent peak and could develop into very good players.

Maybe you guys should see what all the other top DT's like dexter lawrence did their first few years in the league.

Players dont develop in one year. JFC

The late round picks are poor but there is a good chance all the guys he drafted in the 1st/2nd could end up very good players. Jaylon Johnson wasnt an all pro after 2 years.

On paper poles killed this last draft until the 3rd. Then he went poles. Like I said I’m out. He sucks. And if they **** up CW I’m done with his team until they figure out the problem is George,
