I have to laugh at all the pessimistic little shits who don't think the Chicago Fucking Bulls can get a college coach from fucking Iowa State. Are you guys fucking kidding me?

Are you actually following the conversation in regards to Hoiberg?

I am. A bunch of little pussies saying how the Bulls won't be able to lure Hoiberg away because he's the king of fucking Iowa State (big fucking woopteydoo) and because he's got some kids (whatever the **** that means).

rumors surrounding his demeanor during the Warriors deal

thats probably why teams have cooled on him thinking hes not wanting to leave college right now...but it doesn't mean they wouldn't be interested whatsoever

the health problems were stuff they knew about 3 years ago and getting upset i don't think hurts his stock...it happens to the best...coach k got upset last year with the #2 pick on his squad

In all honesty, I follow ACC and Big12 basketball during the college season as I'm a big UNC fan and I enjoy the intense rivalaries in these Big12 games. I have to say that I'm not as enamored with Hoiberg as some are as the future coach of the Bulls especially if they're expecting a championship out of him. He is a good coach who has positives and gets well balanced offense and defense and I can see how that's a plus. But the way that his team leaned too heavily on their ability to defend and that they could just come back from anything because they have fire power. Really is nothing short of disconcerting for me, they had several droughts in the season reminescent of what most of you crying for a new coach hate about this Thibs led Bulls team since 2010-2011 when he was hired. Their NCAA upset loss. They shot abysmally, got back into the game by virtue of grit, defense, and hustle, and then they expended all that energy and couldn't finish the job and their star player who was Mr. Big Shot all year came up short. It's fools gold. He's a really good coach. But his teams aren't without flaws that have plagued this team in the Rose era.

so its really no more debate...its who PaxGar wants hate it or love it

now we just sit and wait for the thibs situation to get resolved then get Hoiberg's answer

Is GarPax going to settle for a second (assuming it's ORL or NOP) or get a 16 first?

they'll push for a first but i think they would settle for anything to get out of paying the last 2 years of his deal

Can I ask why? Is it purely because he's from a college program? Do you even know anything about him and his NBA background, or are you just fearing the unknown?

I just see history repeating itself . Not in a good way. Going back to the same well as in 1999 just doesn't seem like it will end well. I've seen some of Iowa state play. They were okay. But just really don't see him as an upgrade. He's just the "it" coach now.

I heard Alvin Gentry's name today on the radio as a new "favorite" to "replace Thibs". If that happens, I will really start to think there is something supernatural behind Gar/Pax still having a job. Hopefully that's just a baseless rumor, like most things in the media these days.

Agreed. I'm hearing that, too. In my eyes, that's a gigantic step backward.

Gentry is a fit for those teams that haven't seen a playoff spot in years, to mature and grow younger players. Honestly, I don't want to see Gentry as the coach. He just isn't a good fit.

Hell, swing for the fences on a coach.

The Bulls are in a unique position. Whoever comes in will instantly have a winning team---like a top three or four in their conference. They'll also have a former MVP and a few All Stars.

Although they've put in some disappointing playoff performances as of late, you can't ask for much more as an incoming coach.

Forget all these random assistant picks. Who's your absolute dream coach?

Had Love been playing for the Cavs, Bulls would have been lucky to win 1.

There just isn't enough talent on the roster to compete w/elite teams.

Yet, as generally happens in these situations the HC will be the scapegoat for the GM.

Gar/Pax was asking Thibs to beat Cleveland with the likes of an Aaron Brooks...all 6' and 160lbs of him.

i'll be a little disappointed to say the least if he turns the job down...but i'll understand

Why do you think he's a good fit for the Bulls?
