In all honesty, I follow ACC and Big12 basketball during the college season as I'm a big UNC fan and I enjoy the intense rivalaries in these Big12 games. I have to say that I'm not as enamored with Hoiberg as some are as the future coach of the Bulls especially if they're expecting a championship out of him. He is a good coach who has positives and gets well balanced offense and defense and I can see how that's a plus. But the way that his team leaned too heavily on their ability to defend and that they could just come back from anything because they have fire power. Really is nothing short of disconcerting for me, they had several droughts in the season reminescent of what most of you crying for a new coach hate about this Thibs led Bulls team since 2010-2011 when he was hired. Their NCAA upset loss. They shot abysmally, got back into the game by virtue of grit, defense, and hustle, and then they expended all that energy and couldn't finish the job and their star player who was Mr. Big Shot all year came up short. It's fools gold. He's a really good coach. But his teams aren't without flaws that have plagued this team in the Rose era.
