Ah the sexy D Howard rumor...when we fail to get him who's next? Monta Ellis? Ben Gordon?

We don't know and neither do you. We do agree that the Bulls need to get better.

People need to realize that come July 1st there is no CBA. No team is going to trade or sign anyone. They simply can't. If anything happens, it happens on draft night, & even that is highly unlikely. And Howard is not going anywhere, atleast not this offseason.

Good point, but we are going through the NFL being locked out.

We need a scoring-2 who can defend & my money is on getting Kevin Martin. He's wallowing away on a mediocre Rockets team that is going nowhere. After watching this entire season, it's apparent that Rose needs another ball handler who can create a shot for himself & his teammates. Martin is that guy & it's just up to GarPax to get him.

The real question that is should be asked, is will this move beat Miami?

If you listen to ESPN, the Heat totally dominated the Bulls & shut them down. Anyone who watched that series with their eyes open knows that is far from the truth. We were in every single game up until the final 3 minutes. What happened in those closing minutes was a combo of lack of experience, Rose being doubled by 2 of the best perimeter defenders in the league, & Miami getting the game changing plays. We were only a couple missed FT's & a couple defensive stops from going up 3-2 in the series, & I think we can all agree we played like crap the majority of the time. If you can get Rose a robin, it's over. We still are a better overall TEAM than Miami, however the combined power of the 2 & 1/2 men was too great because we rely so heavily on Rose to create every opportunity that when his game is stagnant our offense takes a big dump. Get another player who can light it up & create for himself/teammates & the Larry O'Brien trophy will come back to the Berto Center.

I would love to get Howard...but REALISTICALLY...IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

First of all...it is NO WAY ORLANDO IS GOING TO TRADE HIM (ESPECIALLY NOT TO CHICAGO) and secondly, it sounds like Howard plans on Staying in Orlando and Building His Own Legacy which is respectable

I think we should go ahead and focus on a STAR SG, we did make it to the EASTERN CONFERENCE FINALS and if we had more Scoring We Probably BEAT MIAMI! So hopefully Gar and Paxson can pull something off and get a STUD at SG

We still need a Low Post Player...Boozer is a POOR FIT, he is TOO SLOW for this current Bulls Team and I personally don't think Boozer will play that long either, he is SLOWING DOWN already, just too many injuries over the years...SO WE STILL NEED A POST UP PLAYER! The league is getting TOO FAST and ATHLETIC for guys like Boozer!

Boozer had a stretch for 2 months where we all got to see the REAL Boozer. Unfortunately he is injury prone & it reared it's ugly head this year (2 of which were freak accidents; both ankle injuries). When he's healthy he's a top 5 PF in the league. He was playing on 1 leg & still pulled in nearly 10 boards a game in the playoffs! A fully healthy Boozer/Noah & a scoring-2 around Rose & the path to the Finals is paved.

UGH! I never liked the Boozer signing, I am also a Duke fan as well so I know Boozer very well, that man has NEVER BEEN CONSISTENT, he shows flashes and then he disappears

BULLS NEED CONSISTENCY IN THE PAINT and they are not going to get it from Boozer because for one...HE CAN'T STAY HEALTHY! Also even when he is healthy his defense is HORRIBLE and he is SOFT! He Called out Bosh then he got DESTROYED in that SERIES

Don't get me wrong we can LIVE with Boozer at PF...BUT...Boozer cannot be the SECOND OPTION on this team though, Bulls need a much more DEPENDABLE SECOND OPTION...Hopefully that will be a SG!

I'm a UNC fan and I saw a lot of Boozer at Duke too.

He's a hell of a player when he's healthy and gives a shit.

I just think that had he not suffered that leg injury so close ot the playoffs, he would've had a better showing.

I agree he can be inconsistent, but when he's healthy & motivated he can be a beast downlow. But if we get Kevin Martin then that 2nd option problem is solved. Honestly though, if Thibs could turn Allen & Pierce into decent defenders, I think he can work his mastery on Booz & get him from wretchedly bad to maybe just bad. ;)

some people still have hope in Boozer obvious...I DON'T! Of course I hope I am wrong but Boozer has NEVER BEEN DEPENDABLE and he is a injury waiting to happen, that is not going to change all of a sudden late in his career...I know one thing...the Bulls better hold on to Gibson because if...no...WHEN Boozer goes down again you will need someone that can step in and play like Gibson can

again we can live with Boozer at PF for 1-2 more years MAYBE, but the Bulls still need another GO TO GUY because Boozer is NOT A GO TO GUY!

Yes they did dominate the series 4-1.How close the games were has no relevance since almost all playoff games are decided in the last few minutes.
Stop using the 2 against 1 excuse, all year when we needed a basket down the stretch we cleared out and let Rose go 1on 1. Lebron locked him down 2 games in a row down the stretch, thats why we didn't win those 2 games.Talent wins championships ,and the only players that can light it up are highly paid, and the Bulls are not likely to persue them. How can the Bulls be a better overall team than the Heat when you say they have 2 1/2 men and the Bulls only have 1? The Bulls will never win a Championship with this roster, unless they bring in a bona fide star performer.

Talent wins like you said, not stars. The Bulls loss close games because Thibs ran no plays down the stretch and told Rose to make it happen. First off, LeBron has never locked anyone down. Rose had him beat in game 4, he for whatever reason thought he couldn't do it. That's a mental thing, nothing that LeBron did. LeBron would have either gotten beat or fouled him if Rose just took him to the hole. He did that to Paul George and in my opinion Paul George is a way better defender than James.

Paul George is a better defender than Lebron James? Are you serious?

That last sentence...the last one....read that one back to yourself man...do something with that bruh...do something with that...lol

If George played defense as good as Lebron does...Bulls lose in the first round.

I'm dead serious. LeBron is right now in the finals getting done in by Shawn Marion. Luol got to where ever he wanted to on LeBron. Paul George is longer and had better defensive position. Don't let the start power fool you. LeBron is an average defender at best. Those chase down blocks he does do not make him a shutdown defender. Rose had him beat game 4 but he got shell shocked. He will blow by him like he does everybody else next year.

Rose shot 6% against Lebron in that series. George is nowhere near the player Lebron is...at any facet of the game. Lebron played the role of Scottie Pippen in that series defensively. George should NEVER be brought up in the same sentence with James again. Lebron James may be the best perimeter defender in the league right now.

Yes Rose was shell shocked...because Lebron was guarding him...let's get the fact straight here...

LeBron will is not nor never will be the defender Scottie Pippen was. I don't care what kind of King and hype he gets. LeBron plays the passing lanes and makes chase down blocks and that's it when it comes to his defense. Scottie did all that and some. As far as Paul George, that is my opinion, you don't agree that's fine, but I won't retract it.

That sounds really cute, but you have no clue as to what Lebron will be defensively down the road. The "never will be" proclamations are groundless.

So what if Rose shot 6% against a guy who is 6 inches taller and at least 30 lbs. heavier than him? That's expected. I would have been more surprised if he shot 25% or higher.

No that's not expected...it isn't expected that anyone in the league could have that effect on Rose...but it happened. And if Rose was "shell shocked", Lebron's defense played a huge role in that happening.
