No that's not expected...it isn't expected that anyone in the league could have that effect on Rose...but it happened. And if Rose was "shell shocked", Lebron's defense played a huge role in that happening.

Lebron did amazing on Rose, but wouldn't you agree that his height and weight advantage helped him out on guarding Rose? Lebron's no slouch defensively, combined that with his physical ability, and he could guard nearly everyone in the NBA, except Dwight Howard.

That has to do more with skill than size.

True. Which only amplifies the height factor. His skills are obvious. The height difference against Rose was another easy advantage he had too.

But you will admit that size is a factor, right? I mean, just looking at it from a practical standpoint, it's harder to shoot over someone 6 inches taller than you than it is to shoot over someone who's only like 3 inches taller than you. Combine that with Lebron's freak athleticism which nearly nullifies Rose's, you're going to be at a pretty good advantage most times. I believe Rose can win that matchup more times than 6% in the future. That said, Lebron is a freaking amazing defender. He can take on pretty much anyone because he's huge and fast. Combine that with his talent, and you've got...well...him.

So now everyone is using the Rose is too little excuse? The truth of the matter is Miami has 2 superstars and one all star, they don't need a bench, a center,or a pg,that should be obvious to anyone who watches basketball that superstars win championships. The Bulls will never win a championship if Rose doesn't drastically improve his BB IQ.He has the ball in his hands too much to make the terrible decisions that he makes.Great defensive teams and players(such as Lebron) just expose Roses lack of play making skills.

Size is definitely a factor...most definitely. But Lebron is NOT supposed to be able to move like he does at his size. Yet and still, it was hard work guarding Rose...very hard work.

But he can and that's what makes him such a good defender. And of course guarding Derrick Rose is no easy task for anyone, but for a guy like Lebron, it's much easier.
