Read a review on it and heard that it was a little disappointing. Plus I read a list of the top games you should get with it and 2k14 was on that list so I don't know if that bodes well or not.

There are no great launch games for it except for a downloadable game called Resogun.

The console itself is fantastic according to reviews, but places like Polygon give it a low rating because of the lack of blockbuster launch titles. Knack is apparently extremely mediocre, Killzone is so-so, ACIV disappointed a lot of people, COD: Ghosts is shit. Early 2014 and into summer 2014 you'll get a better gauge of how things are going. Better titles will be out (InFamous Second Son, Thief, MLB 14, Watch_Dogs, Destiny) and more firmware updates and features will be rolling out for the system.

Yeah Christmas coming up is another big factor. I still have my 360 and PS3, so I'll probably just wait for a trade in deal at Gamestop in the future.

We'll see though, I still haven't cancelled my pre-order. My girlfriend want's to talk me out of it and she's coming back home tomorrow. 80% chance I'm cancelling.

Yeah I ended up cancelling mine. If I would have gotten one now it may very well have collected dust until Spring. Going to wait until about mid-January.

Just announced "Uncharted" for PS4. Doesn't say "Uncharted 4", and they won't say if Nathan Drake is involved. The voice definitely wasn't Nolan North's voice. Can't wait to hear more about it.

I wonder how many pre-orders were given to each store. I live right down the road from a GameStop so for the hell of it I decided to drive by last night to see how many people were there for the midnight release. There MIGHT have been 25 people, it was dead as hell. I know that when I go to the one for the One that there is going to be police out just in case anything gets out of hand.

Glad I didn't pull the trigger on one first day.

My son's PS3 broke two months ago. I was debating getting a 4 or just buying a cheap 3 and waiting until the bugs worked out of the system.

Glad I waited.

Heard that the issue of nothing showing up on the screen being tied to a bent piece of metal in the HDMI port. Kotaku had this same problem when they got theirs weeks ago and a Sony tech guy came over to their office and bent it back into place with a pin and it worked fine.
