You guys are probably right, but I'll try this for now I guess. I know of many people who were able to complete cigs completely by vaping, I hope I'm one of them. I've cut back by 2/3's already in one day. I know from the past, that once I stop completely I can't ever have even one or it's over.

But how long b4 they stopped vaping?
Plus, how does vaping effect the lungs? You said u had back issues. Can u even ride a stationary bike? Have you thought about using a steam room to help clean your lungs?

I think the Vaping thing is one of those that could go either way. We will find out in like 5 years if cases start popping up.
My guess is that it isn't nearly as carcinogenic as smoking, and it doesn't heat the mouth, throat and lungs the way smoking does. At the same time it is still inhaling chemicals and nicotine so it certainly has some effect on the body.
As with anything if it used as a short term crutch to get away from cigarettes, not a long term replacement it is probably not going to have some major negative long term consequence.
Burque and Diehardfan have u guys ever smoked cigs?
Smoked for 20 years and quit 13 years ago.....waking up coughing in the middle of the night and when I got up in the morning drove me crazy.t as hard as you think it is.

Definitely this. I realize probably not completely without effects, but heck, there's no tar or as much heat and a hell of a lot cheaper.
@Run&Shoot: As to how long it took others to quit after vaping , not sure
Wow.Definitely source your juices for vaping. I vaped for 6 years and quit that too. Use the right juices and you don't need to worry as much, huge step up vs smoking. Things like diacetyl were a concern for a few months back in 2011 or so, and as soon as juice makers caught wind, they started to phase and replace quickly, yet, it gets brought up a lot. Don't you wish they took edge cases like that and applied them evenly across all products? Like all the shit that gets dumped into tap water(which makes its way into bottled water too), even to this day. There was also this juice maker in China that used source glycerin that was contaminated with antifreeze back in 2009, trying to sell gallons of juice for the same price as a medium-good quality 30ml bottle. That gets brought up as well, but it's simply just ammunition for people who paint with broad brush strokes and don't offer heavily addicted smokers realistic solutions.

My buddy used vaping to quit. The best part is that he dropped cigarettes instantly.....bad part was it took him about 2 years to get off vaping. It's just another swap of addictions, though they are better for you and cheaper than cigarettes are. I'm sticking with cold turkey.....once you beat it, you are done. No secondary addictions to beat. I did it, there's no reason why you can't. No pain, no gain....

I love going in the steam, but can't afford a health club membership due to medical bills.
