The pace was ok, beginning was mildly interesting because you didn't know where things were going, but then it became predictable. I had heard someone say it had some similarity to Blair Witch...maybe a little but not really.

The

I actually watched that Sunday 5/10 I couldn’t get over the beta that didn’t help his friend

Black panther it was ok. The political dig at the end totally drops it a full point. My biggest gripe it didn’t add anything to go with the upcoming infinity wars 7/10. The black power stuff wasn’t over the top imo. God bless the youth my nephews loved it. They thought he was an awesome fighter. They laughed at some of the African stuff lol. It’s awesome being innocent watching a movie and not having biases politically and just enjoy it.

Yea...I don't think people realize that Black Panther will not do much with Infinity Wars. It's more like a GOT of Wakanda. People fighting each other to become king.

IMO alot of the kingdom stuff was kind of goofy, I couldn't have cared less about the father/uncle family scandal. I thought the movie was much better when they were in the real world.

P.S.-The Black Panther had no real mission, goal, or vision as a king. So the idea that we were supposed to be rooting for him to be king as if he had anything important to do once he got there, was not computing.

Pretty much what it was lol I think it fell short not tying it to the rest of the Marvel world. They put him on ant man level.

I don't know how many of you care about the box-office but it's kinda like a big interest of mine. Well, Black Panther could be taking down The Avengers for 5th place opening weekend all-time box-office (unadjusted for inflation). Pretty amazing for a C level Marvel Character.

Well it’s kind of like when obama ran for president you got a whole demographic that usually stays at home interested.

Just saw Black Panther. It was pretty good. I thought I'd be disappointed because I already have an extensive background on the character and thought they'd change the characters and stories to fit it into the Infinity War stuff. I'm a big fan of Killmonger as well. It was a good movie in my opinion. Was it my favorite movie ever? definitely not. My favorite superhero movie? definitely top 3.

It’s funny you brought up how you enjoyed it more cause they didn’t change things up. I was unaware until I read an article today that Wesley snipes was putting together black panther movie before he did blade. He choose to dump the idea cause they wanted to change everything up and he did blade instead. And he did a damn great job at it. Especially back then with low tech it would have nothing on what they were able to do with this movie

I just got cool runnings and miracle off Amazon prime. The Olympics made me do it. I'm sure they will be both funny and inspirational as they've always been.

Black Panther 8/10

Visually, it's a beautiful movie. The soundtrack is awesome and I'm not even a Kendrick Lamar fan. I think that, so far, Michael B Jordan's Killmonger is the best villain so far throughout the MCU. Michael B was awesome as was the whole cast. I know review wise, it's got the highest ratings of any super hero movie. I personally don't hold in that high regard, but I will say it's one of the best MCU movies to date. I had a lot of fun with this. Definitely worth experiencing on the big screen.

I think my main complain would be that Michael B Jordan should have had more screen time.
